Chapter 11: The answer

"Adrian.... I don't want to loose you"

Right after I spoke those words I saw a smile playing on Adrians lips. It made me swell with a fealing I really didn't recognize.

"I don't want to loose you eather Valentina, and please let me just ask you this... I know we havent known each other for very long but.... will you be my girlfriend?

I was standing there frozen, I didn't dare to move a muscle within me, I had no idea he was going to ask me that.

Taking a deep breath while recolecting my thoughts I came up with my answer.

"Ok... listen, I want us to take things slow and you need to know I've never had a boyfriend before but Yes!"

An emotion came over me as soon as those words were out and I found myself hugging him. He hugged me back warmly and then looked straight into my eyes.

"I've never had a girlfriend eather but, with you... It just feels right"

I literally found myself melting with those words.

After we had that little conversation, I found myself walking around hand in hand with my new AND first boyfriend.

This was the most crazy thing in the world because it was both exciting and scary.

"Valentina, I want you to know that I would like to make this official"

"Ok...."

"By official I mean, I want both of our families to know that we are in a relationship, maybe even later on meet them and stuff".

"W-wwhat? mmy f-family?, Adrian, umm my parents are unav... Lets take it slow ok, sure our families will know but for the meeting, I feel like its too early ok?"

"Hey, no problem, don't get nervous or umcomfortable, I just don't want you to think that I'm going to play with your fealings thats all"

"Trust me Adrian, I know"

I could feel the heat rushing to my face because this boy made me feel so diferent, in a good way.

After we had that discution we each went home, because we had school the next day which was Monday.

When I got home, I saw light inside of Keyla's room which meant she was eather studying or practicing so I made myself a bowl of cereal, and when I was done went straight to bed.
