Chapter 18: Bad fealing

"Baby, don't worry about what Angela said, she is just mad" Julian says to me.

But I can't help and think about those words: "Don't worry Vantentina, I don't want my boyfriend back just yet, First I'll make you suffer". I can't help but feel uneasy. What is Angela planning on doing? What if Adrian also gets hurt?

Ugh! I just can't bare with this anymore. I try and pay attention in class as much as possible, but fail miserably.

When lunch time comes around Julian invites me to sit with him and his group of friends which includes Keyla and Jaden. Which are right now eating each others faces.

"Ehhemm, excuse me Jaden, may I sit with my cousin?" I ask and they freeze; this is hillarious.

Jaden turns around slowly and says: "Yeah of course, I'll sit on the other side so that Julian can sit next to you and I can still sit next to Keyla"

"Sounds fair to me"

When we all sit, after obviously picking up our lunch trays, mmmm Pizza!, I turn sliglty to my cousin and ask so only she could hear.

"OmG Keyla!!! you didn't tell me anything!, but I'm so happy for you two"

"I'm sorry Val, but you have been out of it lately with so much drama, and I've been so busy that I just decided to give you space"

"And I apprecite it hun, but OmG!!!"

"So what about you? You already have an ex boyfriend and a new one?"

"Ugh, I mean to be honest, nothing comes easy for me, I'm trying to figure myself out and well, I decided to give Julian a chance, I know its so wrong but..."

"Speaking of ex-boyfriends" Says Keyla staring at the entrance door, and what I see chatters my heart in pieces.

In walks Adrian with Angela and when Adrian sees me, Angela grabs his face and claims his lips. I feel a tear drop from my face and decide to look down just so nobody notices.

"Valentina, Don't let her bother you" Julian whispers by my left side.

"I just.... Adrian is not like that"

After that It was even worse trying to pay attention in class. When we were finally in our last class I see Adrian walk in hand in hand with Angela, and kiss before sitting at their own seats, Angela next to Julian and Adrian next to me.

I don't even look at him and just stare right ahead. But I give a note to Julian saying, 'We need to talk, after school please?' shortly he hands me the paper back and in it, it says 'sure, we don't have practice today'.

Once the bell rings, I start shoving my stuff in my bookbag, and I see Adrian leaving the classroom and Angela runs to catch up to him (Ha, he didn't wait for her).

Julian looks at me and motions me with his head to follow him. We start walking towards my home slowly.

"So, what was it that you wanted to talk about?" Julian asks

"Look Julian, I am at a phase of my life where I really don't know who I am or what I want, And everything just has happened so fast"

"What's your point Valentina?" Julian asks cutting to the chase but staring at me intensively.

"Julian, I don't want anybody to get hurt, you know I still like Adrian as well, and I know Angela is only using him to get back at me"

"So, you are saying...."

"I am saying that you are great but I want to be alone, I can't be your girlfriend nor Adrians, I just need time to think"

"But.. we have only been together for two days, and only today you letted me act like your actual boyfriend"

" I know Julian, and I'm sorry but I can't, I just can't ok!"

"Fine! do as you wish, good bye Valentina"

And just like that, Julian takes the other street to get to his home and leaves me there walking by myself, I thought he would be more understanding....
