Popping a blue Warhead into my mouth, the sour dissolved into my tongue. A sour face peered on me. A smirking Aric beamed into laughter. "Shut up!" I demanded. Opening up a green apple Warhead from its package, popping it into Aric's mouth without question. Soon enough a dying sour face took over him. "Pft. Haha, you look like a dying cow!" I said, drowning in laughter.
~*~*~
"You ready to go?" Aric asked me. Opening up my room door I nodded, in reply. Aric and I decided to head to the skatepark today. After all it's Tuesday, schools over for the day, and we've finished homework.
I had changed into comfy blue skinny jeans and a Thrasher Tshirt. "Can I borrow your ArtSchool skate?" Aric asked, pleading. Rolling my eyes, I nodded slightly. What can I say? ArtSchool skate's are Aric's fave. Don't ask me why. He just approves of the build. "Yes!!" He Squealed.Noting my brown hair, up into a bun. I glanced at Aric, for his ready. A race, first one to the skatepark it is! I shall win this one for sure! "Ready when you are." Aric said. I gave him a simple thumbs up. Off we go! My foot stands steady on the board, holding my balance. As my other foot swings, pushing off the ground for more speed. Showing off my skateboarding skills, I did a backside nose grind on the curb. A hooting sound, chanting me on, came from Aric, who was not to far behind me. "Now, if I was ahead of you, I would toss in some tricks." Aric hollered, over the loud sound coming from the skateboard wheels rolling and skidding along the pavement.
"Yo!" Aric called out, as we came to a skidding stop. A few hands waved at us, as we walked up the stairs to the flat spot at the skatepark. Sliding my pack off my shoulders, I settled it down on a bench. "About time you too showed up." Wyatt said, hands holding a firm grip on the handle bars.
Don't get me wrong. Im not a huge fan of kids on Scooters, but once you get to know the scoot, you can have loads of fun. On the other hand, the riders are fare more better! Unless you bump into the odd one, who batters about their skills, but they end up being a pain in the ass, not landing one trick, as they snake Everyone!
I smile softly, as Wyatt smiles before me. "What's up Tabbie?" He asked, making a friendly conversation. "Oh you know, flying skateboards in the sky, as they shoot out from underneath riders." I say, giggling a little. He snorts in laughter. "Tabitha, guess what!?" Tommy said, putting his Bmx down. "What is it? Did you land a double back flip?" I said, teasing slightly. He scrunched his nose, laughing softly. "No, silly." Tommy said, crossing his arms. "I learned how to clear the pyramid, doing a 360!" He continued, only this time, his arms were swinging rapidly around, as a smile stretched across his face, from ear to ear.
"That's awesome bro!" I said, pounding his little fist. Tommy is only 9 years old, but hell. Is he ever good at ridding that orange Bmx of his!
Tommy got his first Bmx at age 3, and from that day on, he's been peddling around, learning tricks faster than the human eye could blink!"Watch me as I go down." Tommy said, glowing with bravery. As he peddled towards the pyramid, that's when I noticed him...
Sitting on a bench, on the opposite side of the park, happened to be none other than, Skater boy! In the loving flesh. He was smirking, as he looked my way. A small, but powerful wink, went my way.
