Monday evolves like flipping a page in a book. The little people in my head are running late as usual, while I sit in the uncomfortable chair, stabbing my pencil into my blank sheet of paper. I'm stuck in chemistry, with the brightest dumb ass around!
Mr. Osborn assigned the class to compleat a lab, that we supposedly make up that has a purpose and a reason. And of all people, I get stuck with Hayden Rance. The typical guy, great at sports, but when it comes to using your brain, count him out.God. Im such an idiot! Any girl would die, to have Hayden Rance as their lab partner. For crying out loud! It's the one and only Hayden Rance! Captain of the football team. He only dates cheerleaders, so if you ain't one of them, being his lab partner is as close as your getting to him.
"Tabbie?" Hayden said, poking the side of my arm, snapping me from my thoughts. Shit... "Oh, sorry about that." I smile sheepishly. "So as I was saying, we could use the tank if carbon dioxide, creat dry ice, then put the dry ice into a large lab test-cup, and in the cup includes dish soap and water. When the dry ice and soppy water begin to mix, bubbles will begin to form. Once those bubbles pop, the gas..." Hayden was saying... "Dude, we did that lab in grade 8." I said, gazing at him, with a solid 'duh' expression. "Give me until next class, and Ill have something by then." I say. You mean Youtube. Yes. Yes, indeed. I will just steal some youtubers idea, and change a few things! Mawahahaha...

Sitting on my comfy desk chair at home, I typed furiously fast on my laptop, searching under YouTube, for a lab experiment. As you can tell, I am one hell of a lazy ass, not bothering to use my creative mind...
Being interrupted from my crazy mind, my phone buzzed. Unlocking my phone, a text appeared on the screen.Aric: Heyyyyyy ;)
Shaking my head, at the sight of the text. God! My best friend is such a turtle! Shit! I made that sounder bad. Why god, did you curse me with such a dirty mind?
Me: Hi :|
Aric: What's with the blank face?
Me: You!
Aric: I feel hurt...
Me: Im disappointed in u!
Aric: What did I ever do to u?
Me: my mom!
Aric: Lol
Me: What's up?
Aric: You know
Aric: My usual ;)
Me: oh yeah.... How could I forget
Me: all the time I waste trying to forget..."Tabitha, your wanted on the phone." Shouted my mother. I turned off my phone quickly, leaving it on my desk. "Be there in a jiffy." I shouted back. Trampling down stairs, I walked into the kitchen, where my mom was, talking in the phone. "Who is it?" I questioned. Giving her strange looks. When I walked in, mom was talking to the person on the other end about me. Me! This is a huge deal!!! World crisis here!
Stretching out my arm, she handed me the phone. Slowly, I put the phone to my ear, and said "hello" in a more questioning voice. "Hey, it's Dylan." Dylan answered. "Oh, hey." I say. Wait how did Dylan get my home phone number??... "You doing anything today?" He asked, braking my curiouser thoughts. "Other than youtubing, no." I say. "Want to join me and the guys? Were going on a drive to Banff." He asked. "What would we be doing in Banff?" I asked. "Stuff." He replied. "Stuff?" I questioned. "Bring your skate, and some money. Will come pick you up in ten." He said, before hanging up. Like that made sense.
"Hey mom, A few friends of mine, are going to Banff, and they offered me a seat." I say, hanging up the phone. "Sounds fun, need anything before you leave?" She asked, giving me the serious but caring look. "Cash." I say with a cough.
"What was that, I couldn't hear you. Please speak up dear." She said, pretending not to hear my words. "MONEY." I repeat, only louder this time, getting a pair of eyes to roll at me. "How does five dollars sound?" She asked. She's teasing and I know that. "Mom!" I groan. "Okay, okay. You win." She surrenders in defeat. I do a small victory dance, as she fishes for cash in her purse.A knock pounds on the front door, obviously Dylan was here. "Go answer that Tabbie." Mom said, pointing at the door. "Well what did you think I was going to do? Let them suffer out side?" I say, dramatically as I walk to the door. Opening it, I get a strong whiff of the sweet smelling rose Dylan. Almost collapsing at the door, I inhale deeply, in return to get an awkward look from Dylan. Crud!...
"Flinn, hand this paper to Tabbie, for mommy okay." Moms baby voice said, speaking to my oh, so adorable, baby brother. "To Tabbie." Flinn said. Flinn waddled over to the door, handing me the dough that was a little crumpled from his small fist grip. I kissed his nose, telling him I would be home later. "Skate?" Dylan questioned. I gave him a thumbs up.
"Bye mom, ill be home later, don't wait up." I said, before stepping out side. Flinn waved at Dylan and I as we walked off the porch, towards the truck parked in the drive way.
