"Common, keep it going, your getting it." Dylan cheered me on, as I managed to stay onto the surf board. Im going to shred this one! I hooted, as I medium wave started moving its way towards me. The fave crashed on me, causing me to fly of the board, going under in the water. I swam back up to the surface, chocking on a bit of water. "You okay?" Dylan asked, as he paddled towards me, on his surf board. Getting back onto my board, I rolled my eyes. "No silly, I got demolished as I went under the waves. Dylan wiggled his eyebrows giving me a stern face. I giggled though, not being able to hold in my laughter.

Before I knew it, a splash of water, came my way. Not soaking me, as I had been drenched under the water seconds ago. "You jerk!" I cried, as I splashed water back at him. I fell into the water, as I leaned to far into the water, trying to splash water at him. "Good job stupid!" He teased, hoping into the water. Water was flying all directions, as Dylan and I were trying to splash each other.

I was currently sitting in Dylan's jeep as I waited for him. I had an amazing time at the beach today! "Okay, I've finished, and now we can take off." Dylan said, hoping into the jeep, slamming the door shut. Before driving off, Dylan plugged in his phone to the radio, and browsed through his music. Blink 182 came on, and I started to hum to the music. We were driving off, and as I glanced out the window, watching the sun go down as the waves rolled onto the beach, I just realized how late it had gotten. "Are you going to the school dance this week?" He asked, looking over at me for a second, then turning his attention back to the road. "Possibly." I said with a sigh. "Possibly?" He questioned. "My mother is out that night, and Flinn needs to be watched." I exclaim. He nodded, as he looked off in the distance at the road.

The ride back to town was silent. Not that it was awkward. With the music playing softly, and the sky adjusting to night, it all seemed so peaceful and relaxing. "I had a great time." I said, interrupting the silence. "That's good to hear." He said, as a soft smile crept onto his face. "Even though you are terrible at surfing!" He teased, smirking brightly. Hitting his arm playfully, I mocked his voice, "I give my credit to my horrible teacher!" I smirked. "Here we are." Dylan said, pulling over on the side of the road. Great I'm home. Admitting it, I would rather the day not to end, I really did have a great time, even if the truth be told, Dylan is an ass, but somehow he managed to hold it in him. My thoughts are totally rubbish, thank god he can't read them!

"Ill see you at school." I say, as I open the side door of the jeep, sliding out. "For sure." Dylan said with a small smirk. "Whip your smirk off your face!" I say sarcastically. Only to cause his smirk to grow. "Chow." I waved, closing the jeep door. Walking up to my house, I turned giving one last wave goodbye as Dylan beeped the jeep horn.

I lift up the edge of the welcome rug, slipping out a small key. Quietly I unlocked the door, putting the key back. "Your home." My mother said softly, walking up to me, as I gently closed the door. "Hi." I say softly. Obviously Flinn was tucked in his bed sleeping, so I tried my best to keep quite. "How was it?" Mom asked. With a sigh, I slowly rethink about how amazing today was. "It was lovely." I sigh. "All you did was go to the beach." She pointed out confused. "Yeah." I sighed. She gave me a confused look, shaking her head. "I don't and will never understand teenagers!" She said, sighing. "Never say never." I sang. "Don't even finish that song!" She shouted in a hush tone. My mother made a deal a few years ago that any JB music is band in this house.

It was a few years ago that my mother met Danny. Mom insisted on having him over for dinner one night. It just so happened to be the same night I bought a JB cd. I was blasting the music while singing along to the lyrics. Danny had walked into the lounge where I was playing my music. At the time I had just finished singing the song One Less Lonely Girl. I tossed the comb into the air, which I was using as mic. Which somehow hit Danny, giving him a concussion. That was the end of Danny and Mom's relation. And that's when mom banned all JB music!
