➰Dylan➰

I stopped talking to May and Mat, as I saw Aric and Tabitha show up behind me, in a dead end of this maze. Could Aric be Angelina's son? Noway, fuck I'm just over thinking this! "Dylan?" Tabitha said, looking stunned as she saw me. "What's up?" I asked, trying to seem casual. "It's a funny story!"She laughed softly, "Were looking for Martin's kids. You see Aric's mom, is dating Martin, and well-" I cut her off before she could finish, "Wait! Your saying Angelina's son, is Aric?" It's shocking, it's freaking insane! This isn't true.

Aric stood, looking blankly at me. His hands shoved on his jean pockets, no expression of feelings appeared on his face. Shit! I obviously looked almost similar, besides the fact my jaw was dropped to the ground, and my fists were clenched. "Hi there." I noticed Tabitha, walking past me, to May and Mat. They hid, shyly, behind me. I dropped the stare, turning to Mat and May. "Say hi!" I said, bending down, to their hight. Mat unhooked him self from my leg, stepping forwards, "Hi." He said shyly, looking up at Tabitha. "There so adorable!" She gushed.

"No duh Sherlock!" I teased. "This is your fault!" A far away voice yelled angrily. "Shhhh!" Tabitha demanded. My hand still attached to Tabitha's, she started to backtrack, taking the left path this time. The voice getting closer, in sound. Somewhere I've hear that voice! But who could it be?

We dashed around the corner, confronting the voice its self. There stood Dylan, and two kids about age 5.
What is Dylan doing here? What the fuck?

Tabitha, braking mine and Dylan's blank stare, bent down saying hello, too the two kids hiding behind Dylan. I untucked my hands from my pockets, moving one, scratching my neck awkwardly. Now what? "Who's hungry?" Tabs asked the kids. They bobbed their heads, as they both attached their tiny hands onto Dylan's. Walking out of the maze, we got lost a few times, but managed to find a way out. Thankfully!

"You found them!" Martin teased, waving for us to sit at their table. So much for a picnic, when were in a fancy Country Clubs garden, using glass tables on the patio!

〰Tabitha〰

I sat beside May, and Aric. Aric was slumped in his seat, staring blankly at the plate set in front of him. His mom was day beside him, with Martin to her left. This is more like a small party! A few other tables were set around, filled with a handful of people. I wounded if mom should have come?...
I munched on my sandwich, giggling at the small talk from our table. I swallowed my bite, taking a sip of the lemonade. "So how did the three of you meet?" Martin asked curiously. I laughed softly, remembering how we truly met. Hold! Mom said, a new lady joined the woman's club, and that lady was Dylan's mother. Does this mean his parents are divorced? If Angelina is dating Martin, that must mean Martin and his former wife are divorced! What the heck? Why hadn't Dylan told me?

After Aric told Martin the story of us at the skatepark, I asked Dylan to take a walk with me in the maze. Through left, right, sideways, and backwards turns, we finally came to the end. "This must be the centre of the garden." Dylan said. There was a beautiful fountain near by, with a bench facing it. I gestured towards the bench. He smiled nodding his head. Who knows what he was think at the moment? I say down beside him, glancing up at his face. I turned looking back at the fountain. "Are your parents divorced?" I asked softly. He moved his body, trying to comfort himself. His eyes were hanging down. "My mother Rosetta, cheated on my dad." His voice cracked. "She had a kid with the man, Mikayla." He paused taking a deep breath. "When my dad found out, he wanted a divorce right away, and it happened within a couple months." He continued. "Rosetta, didn't end up with Owen, the man she had Mikayla with. At the time May and Mat were only 2." His eyes wandered to the water fountain, as he told me everything. "Rosetta met another man... David, they had an affair." He gulped, breathing deeply. "You don't have to tell me, if you don't want to." I said, looking into his eyes. "No, it's fine, it feels good to finally tell someone after all these years." Dylan said, drying his sweaty palms on his jeans. "When she had a baby with David, it was a baby girl. Only, David didn't want a girl, he wanted a boy. Forcing my mother to have an abortion." Tears nearly dripped from his eyes. "They tried again, hoping for a boy, but only to get another girl. Again, David forced her to get an abortion. Two innocent baby girls died, all because someone wasn't happy with a baby girl!" Dylan said, whipping his eyes. "That's awful!" I said, feeling something hurt in my chest. "And after that, mom stayed with the man!" His hands folded into fists. "And for Mikayla, well I hope she truly lives in hell! I hate her! Every time I see her, I'm reminded of what drove my family apart!" Tears sliding down his cheeks, but soon removed my his pale hands. He really shouldn't clench his fists so tight, their as pale as snow now! "It wasn't her fault." I said softly. I tried to sooth him, pulling him into a hug.

"I moved here with my dad, hoping I wouldn't see Rosetta ever again, but here she is, moved here to." Dylan said, braking from the comforting hug. "Anyways, what about your dad?" Dylan asked concerned. "He died in a plane crash." I told him. Only half the actual story though.
