On the night of October 23rd, her life shatters.
A seven-year-old girl wakes in silence, her body broken and her spirit trembling.
With nothing but pain and moon to guide her, she escapes into the darkness, bleeding, barefoot, and alone.
Under a pal...
As she wandered helplessly, she couldn't help but think, "She had seen things that had left her feeling dead inside." The memories from the previous hours haunted her, and the pain was unbearable when you didn't even know the meaning of what had happened to you, yet everything about that incident gave you shivers.
Lost and alone, she stumbled through the darkness, her heart heavy with despair. The city streets seemed to stretch on forever, a cold and unforgiving landscape.
She felt tiny and insignificant, just another forgotten soul adrift in the world, running from here to there. After walking for what felt like an eternity, she finally collapsed onto the sidewalk, overcome with emotion and fear. Tears streamed down her face as she sat there, vulnerable and alone. After a few moments, the sun was about to rise; it seemed silent everywhere, with full darkness still lingering. The wind was blowing moderately, bringing beautiful weather along with a mild chill. The moon was in its waxing crescent phase, looking almost psychedelic, and the stars around it appeared breathtaking.
There's always one good thing about pain: no matter how badly it hurts, it can still look beautiful. Something makes pain beautiful; maybe it's the person, or maybe it's the pain itself.

She looked beautiful even after being brutally assaulted, with parts of her body drenched in blood. Still, under the moonlight, she resembled a white baby rose covered in crimson, yet still struggling to bloom.
A few minutes later, a young boy appeared in front of her, his curious eyes sparkling with concern. Who was this girl sitting in front of his house garden?
He noticed her crying. "What's wrong? Why are you crying?" he asked in his sweet voice.
She lifted her gaze to meet his, and her heart skipped a beat. She was afraid. The boy looked one or two years younger than her, with a mop of messy dark licorice hair and a kind smile that could light up the darkest of rooms.
He looked very smart and clearly well raised by his parents.
She saw his face full of concern and worry.
"Why are you crying? And why do your clothes seem soaked in blood? You seem really injured. Why are you sitting here?" he asked, scanning her from head to toe.
She didn't say anything.
"Did someone hit you? Did someone beat you? Did you get hit by a car?" he asked again and again, but she gave no response.
He noticed that she was scared, which was why she wasn't speaking, so he decided to reassure her first.
He began thinking of what to do to help her when suddenly an idea struck him, and he went inside the house.
She thought he wasn't coming back and felt relieved, but somehow, she didn't feel uncomfortable either. She was caught between these mixed emotions.

Moments later, he appeared again with a sandwich and a bottle of water. As soon as she saw the water, she got a flashback of the glass of water that his father's friend had given her. Terrified, she started saying, "No, no, I'm fine, please, no."
He somehow understood and immediately threw the bottle aside. Then he offered her the sandwich, taking a bite first to make her believe in him.
She hesitated for a few minutes, then finally took it and ate.
"Where is the police station?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper as she ate.
