It's really scorching today!

"Yes, Emma, what are you thinking about?"

They are sitting in the playground after school. They both are good friends, but their vibes didn't match at all. Emma is like the darkness of midnight, while Diana is like the sunshine of a very beautiful daylight. Their aura gives different types of energies.

Both are looking at the flowers in front of them. They are also dead because of the heat. Diana is sad looking at them, but it's not her regular face. She's a very happy child who loves to explore beautiful places and enjoy herself. On the other side, Emma is house-grounded and never plays or visits any place outside, but she only visits Diana, and they both play.

"Diana, do you like to haunt old houses?" Emma says. She's still looking at the dead flower with a very serious glare.

"To be honest, it's giving me the creeps," replied Diana.

"No, it's not creepy or scary at all." She sees Diana's face; it's not giving a good look at all. She doesn't like to visit these places, although I love to explore them and uncover new mysteries. "I'm fascinated by them," Emma says.

"Do you love ghosts?"

"No."

(A smile spread across Diana's face. She feels relief.)

Emma turned to her and asked, "What's making you smile? You're really interesting, and I've been enjoying your company since the first day of school." Diana starts to praise her with a smile.

Diana is smiling, but Emma remains silent with a bold face, as she has been since the first day. Yet, despite Emma's aloofness, Diana still enjoys her company.

"Stop smiling and go home," Emma says, because Diana is still smiling at her, and she can't understand what's so funny there. "Your parents must be worried about you."

"Okay," Diana says. "But what about you? Aren't you going home too?" Diana questioned her.

"I'm not sure yet. I'll decide in a bit." Emma is resolved in very deep thinking.

"Be careful going home, okay?" Diana says with a smile as she stands up and gets ready to leave.

"Okay," Emma replies, still lost in thoughts.

After she left, there was a silence around her.

After waiting for ten minutes, she finally stands up, smooths out her clothes, and takes a step forward on her way home

After waiting for ten minutes, she finally stands up, smooths out her clothes, and takes a step forward on her way home.

After walking a short distance, she stops and looks back over her shoulder, as if she's waiting for someone who was supposed to meet her. She's angry about the fact that the person she's waiting for didn't come, but also she's worried about whether that person is okay or not.

When she realizes that person is not coming, a faint look of concern etches onto her face, and she starts walking.

"I'm home," Emma sighs. She says, opening the door to the house.

After her parents' tragic murder when she was only five, she found her shelter in her aunt's house, where she has been living since then.

Despite the passage of time, the identity of the person behind the brutal crime remains a mystery. But she knows a person who knows everything, or maybe not everything, but something about her parents' death.
