"Flora, welcome ," she said, pulling out a cigarette from her coat and burning one end.

In a tense standoff, their powerful auras and their pasts with complex histories, deep-seated pains, and divergent visions for power ignited an explosive atmosphere.

Her face was a puzzle, but one word solved it: *“Flora.”* Because now the blurred voice in his head was perfectly clear to him, and at the same time she knew too whom she was talking to.

"I didn’t expect you here, and you’ve changed a lot," he said, smiling.

"Fedrick, this world is full of unexpected things."

She even remembered his name

She even remembered his name. How could she forget the name that meant so much to her, or maybe even was a lifesaver to her?! Who knows exactly… just the two of them.

"Yes, you’re right," he said, sipping his drink.

"I see your belongings have arrived here in France, so I thought I’d come to meet you myself. And so, it would be a great pleasure to serve you. Since we’re both here, let me be your host," she said, glancing at her phone. Someone was continuously texting her. "I’ll introduce our friend to you, Fedrick," she said, turning off her phone.

"I don’t mind, but you are my sister, dearest to my heart. Even if we’re not blood-related, I don’t want my sister to be my host; let me be your host instead," he said firmly.

"I don’t need your permission, and you *have* to do it," she insisted.

So he agreed it seemed like there was no choice left for him. He thought it was fine, but his mind was spinning with many thoughts about the past. He was overthinking, as he always did, totally lost in his mind.

Meanwhile, she said, "Coffee or tea? Or maybe a drink? What do you want?" She came to the conclusion that he was still worried about something, but she wanted to clear the air in that environment.

"Coffee," he said.

She ordered coffee for the two of them.

The coffee arrived exactly 10 minutes later.

"Who’s the other person you want me to meet?" he asked while drinking his coffee

"Who’s the other person you want me to meet?" he asked while drinking his coffee.

"She’s 17 years old. She’s well-skilled in technology unlocking doors and hijacking someone’s bank account. Her name is Minnie. She knows you. She didn’t tell me how she knows you, but she’s sure about it."

"I don’t know either, but maybe I'll remember once I saw her… maybe I worked with her, or somehow our paths crossed?"

"Maybe. She’s the only loyal and purest friend of mine in my life, and "

She was interrupted by a loud knock on the door.

It seemed like there were two people behind the door, but this room was booked by Fedrick, and he was thinking that he hadn’t invited anyone yet

It seemed like there were two people behind the door, but this room was booked by Fedrick, and he was thinking that he hadn’t invited anyone yet.

"They’re your people?!" Flora questioned.

"No. I came here all alone. I don’t know who they are, but let me check," he said, walking toward the door.
