« Luke's Pov »

Diamond and I finished skinny dipping, it was really really fun. Diamond had fallen asleep in the passenger's seat and she would mumble a few words that I couldn't quite figure out.

Diamond screamed and I pulled the car over, scared. "Are you okay!?"

She looked at her surroundings and she slowly nodded. "J-Just a bad dream."

"About?" I asked and she shook her head, telling me it's okay. She turned on the music and I started to drive again. I smiled when I heard our song was on.

"My girlfriend's bitchin' 'cause I always sleep in," I sang and I saw Diamond looking over at me.

"She does?" She asked, "Was it me?"

I laughed at her and I shook my head no and she sighed in relief. The stoplight turned red and I saw Diamond looking out the window. She sat up, her eyes widening. She took off her seatbelt and now my eyes widened, not this again.

"Put your seatbelt back on!" I exclaimed and she opened the door. "Diamond get back in here!"

I couldn't just get out too, the people behind me will get super angry. I parked the car next to a building and ran after Diamond. She stopped in front a couple making out.

"You asshole!" Diamond yelled and pushed him to the floor. 

"Hey babe, it's not what it looks like." He said, standing up and walked up to Diamond. 

"Oh shut up, I've had enough of you." Diamond spat and before she could walk away the guy pulled her.

"Do not fucking talk to me like that!" He warned her and he punched her. I ran up to them and pushed him away from her. The girl he was kissing had ran off, obviously scared. Some guys ran up to Diamond and helped her off. "Look what you did, you little bitch!"

He tried to walk to Diamond again but the other guys were pulling him away. A girl gave Diamond a tissue and I brought her back to my car. I put her seatbelt on and ran to the driver's seat.

"Diamond what was that!?" I exclaimed and she flipped me off. I sighed and drove back to our house. I tried to help Diamond inside but she pushed me away from her. I walked away and I opened the door, she followed behind me. "Has he been hurting you?" I brought her inside the kitchen and grabbed her an icepack. I put it on her cheek but she pushed me away once again and grabbed the icepack.

"Diamond, I'm trying to fucking help you here!" I shouted and she rolled her eyes.

"Do I care?" She asked and I can feel anger taking over me. I pushed everything on the table and some glass broke. She got startled from my sudden actions and she kept holding on to her icepack.

"I am trying here Diamond!" I shouted again. "I'm fucking trying here! I'm trying my fucking best to fucking make you remember your goddamn life! I don't fucking give a fuck anymore!"

"Sometimes I wish I could read your mind. But then, I wonder if I could handle the truth." I said. 

I started to walk out to the backyard but she stopped me. "I'm trying too Luke. I just don't want to try anymore, I'm sorry. I'm sorry for leading you on, sorry for me." She paused for a seconds. "I'm sorry for coming into your life."
