'Hello! My name is, ____ Ketchum! I live in Pallet town with my brother, Ash Ketchum and my mom, Delia Ketchum! I am currently writing in my journal! My mom gave it to me... Yesterday? Yeah yesterday! Anyway, tomorrow I'm going to start my Pokémon journey since I'm old enough to! I just can't wait! I'm so excited! But I'm a little worried because of my brother... He may not wake up early enough to get a Pokemon... But I'm sure he'll figure something out... Anyway got to go get ready for bed! Big day tomorrow!'

I sighed. I just finished writing my first page in my journal, but now I had to get ready for bed! So I do what I would usually do to get ready for bed, and went downstairs. I saw my mom in the living room watching watching some television.

"Hey mom!" I said. "Oh why hello ____! What are you doing up? I thought you would be in bed? You have a very busy day ahead of you tomorrow!" She said a little sadness in her voice but overall, casually. "Oh I was just coming downstairs to say goodnight!" I yawned. "Oh well, goodnight dear! I'm going to go tell your brother to get some shut eye too! It's already 11:00 at night!" She said. "Okay mom... Goodnight." "Goodnight, ____..."

I awoke to the sound of my stupid alarm clock. I groaned, turned off my alarm clock and got out of bed and stretched. Today is the day I become an official Pokémon trainer! So I did my usual morning routine and looked at the clock, 9:30 am.

Hmm I still got 30 minutes.. But on the other hand it's better to get there earlier, I thought. "After all I don't want to be waiting for Ash.." So I said goodbye to my mom and was about to head out the door until. "Wait, ____! I need to give you your stuff for your journey!" My mom said. "Oh yeah I forgot... Whoops..."
"Okay so here are your extra clothes, underwear, bras, food, water, shoes, bathing suit, gloves, jacket, a picture of us three, a-." "Okay mom! I think I get it..." I put the backpack on my back. "Oh ____, my baby girl is growing up so fast!" She said. "Aww, mom it's okay! I'll visit when I get the chance to! I promise to keep in touch to!" I said, while hugging her. "Oh you're right! I'll stay strong! Now go! Become the Pokémon master I'll be proud of!" "I will!" I said while running off.

"Ahh! There it is! Professor Oak's lab!" I cheered, so I ran even faster, only to bump into someone. "Oof!" I fell on my butt. "Hey watch where you're going!"
Uh oh.. I recognize that voice!
"Well, well, well.. If it isn't Ms. Loser! What are you doing here? Going to go get your eye sight fixed?" Ah man... I wish I wasn't right but it was him...

Gary Oak...

"No. For your information I'm going to your grandpa's lab to meet my starter Pokémon!" I stood up.
"Oh well... It would've been useful if you did get your eyes checked... Whatever I'm going to get there first! Smell ya later, loser!" With that he ran off to the lab.
Oh geez.. I wonder how we even became rivals... I wondered. But I quickly ran to the lab.

"Ahh! Good to see you, ____! Are you ready to get you stater Pokémon?" Professor Oak asked. "Yes professor!" I cheered! "Good.. Now chose your Pokémon!" He said. "Right! I choose you-"

Dun dun duuu! Jk I'm just doing this because I don't know which Pokémon to give you! So will it be the cute little turtle Pokémon, Squirtle? The love able, seed Pokémon, Bulbasaur? Or the little, cheerful, flame Pokémon, Charmander?
