____'s POV

*Beep Beep*

I yawned. I sat up and turned off my alarm clock and got up. Today was the 4-stage battles! I wonder who I'm going to get and which stage.

I walked into the kitchen just to smell a beautiful aroma of bacon, pancakes, and sausage! I saw everything placed neatly on the table and all the things I used for my food in the middle of the table. I also saw a note.
I picked it up and started to read it.

Note:

Dear, ____.
I went out earlier to go get some pop and chips, but I'll be back to cheer you on in the crowd! I'm also going to buy a megaphone! How exciting! See you later on the battle field!

Oh great. Now I'm going to be humiliated in front of the entire world! I sighed.
At least it's my friend who's doing it. Right?

I got ready into my awesome outfit, ate all the food and ran out the door.

I walked into the Pokémon Centre and not a second in there and I got tackled to the ground, engaged in a huge hug.

"Morning, beautiful." A familiar voice said. I looked up at the figure to see my boyfriend, Gary Oak. I blushed when he said 'beautiful.'

"Morning, handsome." I pecked him on the lips and tried to get out of his strong grip.

"Woah, woah, woah! What was that? This is how it's done." I was about to say something but he stopped me by kissing me passionately.
I quickly kissed back. We separated after about a minute. He finally got off me and helped me stand up.

I looked around us and saw all his cheerleaders giving me dirty looks. I shivered. He looked at me funny and looked in my direction and sighed. "They're just jealous of you. Which is good because I want every women to be jealous of you and every man to be jealous of me." He looked back down at me and kissed my forehead.
"Let's go see which stage we are getting and see who we're going to battle."

He grabbed my hand and we walked to the front.

"____ Ketchum. You will now see which stage you are going to get and person you're going to battle." A lady said. So I went to the front and I got the water stage.
Well I'm going to use Vaporeon that's for sure.
The person I was going to battle was a boy named, Roy.

"Phew... I'm not battling Gary." I whispered. "Yeah, or else I would've beaten you and you would've left me! We don't want that happening now do we?" He smirked, putting an arm around me.

"Phft. Like that would happen. But I wouldn't be that mad, I wouldn't leave you over a battle."

"Sure you'd win. But I'm glad to hear you wouldn't leave me." He kissed my head.
What's up with all the kissing? Whatever... feels good.

"So I guess I'm battling on the water stage too. Lucky me." Gary said with sarcasm. "Aww, don't be down in the dumps! You'll win! I know it because... Uh... Just because! After all, you are the great Gary Oak!" I put a fist to my chest.

He blushed and nodded. "Of course! Thank you, ____." He smiled. I blushed. "No problem!" I squeaked. 'Oops.'
He laughed. "Aww, so adorable!" He grinned. "S-shut up!" I said.

"LETS GO, ____ LETS GO!!" I heard someone scream. I looked to my left and saw, Blue chanting the same thing over and over again with a megaphone.

I sighed. Why me?
People gave her weird looks and looked at me. I blushed in embarrassment. So I covered up my face. "It's okay, ____. You'll be fine." I heard Gary say. "Okay..." I uncovered my face.

"HEY, ____! LIKE MY MEGAPHONE?!" She screamed in her megaphone, in my face. "It's very LOUD!" I yelled. "Oh sorry. Just super excited!" She apologized. "It's fine but please... Embarrass Gary next time." I grinned. "No way! I don't want a weird woman to do this! Not acceptable!" He complained.
Blue and I just laughed.

"Our next battle will be Roy versus ____!" The announcer cheered. Everyone in the crowd went wild. I could especially hear Blue's megaphone. I face palmed.
Oh well. Here goes nothing.

I went out to the battle field and waved at everyone. They all cheered even louder. I then stopped and looked at my opponent. He seemed confident.
This is going to be a good battle. I was now pumped up with excitement.

"I saw your last battle ____. Very impressive. But you'll lose to my Pokémon that's for sure." He said. "Thank you, but I think I'll take my chances and win this match!" I said.
