Naina kept tapping her pen on the table, her gaze fixed on the window that allowed the sunlight in the room that was seen after many days, forming the square patterns of the shadow on the floor. Her rolling chair swivelled from side to side, providing a rhythm to her thoughts.

"Oh, Naina!! aaj tum aayi ho?"

She turned to the source of the voice coming from behind and smiled widely, greeting Mr. Sujeet, the creative head.

"Ji..." she replied, standing up and watching Sujeet cross the table and sit on the chair across. "Sameer ne bataya 2-3 changes hai... isliye maine socha khud hi aa jau..."

"Good... kaisi ho tum? All good?" Mr. Sujeet said, arranging the stack of papers in his hand.

"Ji Sir..." Naina nodded, taking her seat. "Kya changes hai?"

"Naina... yeh teen scenes hai jo location ke wajah se approve nahi ho pa rahe hai..." Mr. Sujeet went through the papers and forwarded to her. "Ek local train ka scene hai, ek yeh market ka scene... aur yeh dream sequence bhi... basically saare outdoor locations..."

Naina kept the sheets on the table without sparing a glance at them, she knew which scenes he was talking about. "Lekin Sir, yeh locations hamare kirdaaron ke zindagi ka hissa hai... aur dream sequence ke baare mein toh hamari pehle hi baat hui thi..."

"I know Naina... lekin budget ke issues aa rahe hai... aur kyunki naye track ke hisaab se naye actors bhi aayenge... toh bass thoda tight budget chal raha hai..."

He explained how shooting amidst the crowd of the locals is seeming difficult for the crew and also how the permission from the Western and Central railways take time to be granted. For the market scene, he referenced the last experience where frequent disturbing from the onlookers delayed the whole shooting, making them expend extra money than expected. And for the dream sequence, he cited one more permission issue.

Naina sighed and leaned back in the chair, looking at the window again and noticing the fading sunlight.

"Toh kya changes karne hai scenes mein?" she asked, her voice devoid of any emotion.

"Hum aisa kar sakte hai..." Sujeet adjusted in his chair, "local ke jagah hum bus stop dikha sakte hai... hum pehle bhi ek baar dikha hi chuke hai... market ke jagah par hum set pe hi ek chhoti si dukan bana denge... and same goes with the dream sequence... yahan set par hi kuchh manage kar lenge..."

"Sir woh dream sequence...." She was about to argue but her voice trailed, seeing Sujeet's pursed lips.

Naina heaved a long exhale, tapping her pen thrice on the table and nodding in agreement. "Thik hai... toh uss hisab se scenes ko re-write karna padega na?"

"Haan..." Sujeet plastered a small smile on his lips, averting his eyes. "Naina, mai jaanta hun tum dono hamesha hi iss baat ka dhyan rakhte ho..." he said after a while, "lekin phir bhi... scenes aise hi likho jo hamare budget mein baithe..."

Naina nodded and collected the sheets she was now needed to make changes in.

Sitting in the car, she threw her purse on the passenger seat. Pulling her seat belt and putting the gear in the reverse, she drew her car out of the AK Films parking lot and soon joined the traffic.

It didn't bother her that she had to come to the office only for half an hour today but the reason behind it. She pushed the thoughts away for the moment, focusing on the road amidst the traffic.

To say that she wasn't much scared to learn driving would be a blatant lie. At first, she didn't even agree the slightest when Sameer proposed to her that she should learn how to drive a car. Hell, she hadn't even ridden a moped like Kinetic Honda that some of her colleagues would bring to office at Deshpande Sir's.
