"We have news!"

Everyone was at Calum's house. Normani brought a friend named Tyler to the party to meet her friends. He seemed really nice and he was warm to everyone, as they were to him. They were currently all sitting on the couches.

"We're together!" Normani and Tyler yelled at the same time with bright smiles on their faces. Everyone's face lit up.

"That's amazing, Mani!" Ally shouted, jumping up and pulling both Normani and Tyler into a hug.

Everyone congradulated them, other than Dinah and Camila. They stayed silent.

"I'm sorry, Dinah..." Camila comforted warmly and quietly.

Dinah chuckled and shook her head. "Don't be. I don't care. I really don't. " she laughed softly and stood up, walking into the bathroom.

"Isn't it funny how this works?" Normani asked, turning over on her side to look at Dinah.

The two girls were laying in the grass at about 1:00 A.M. They were staring at the sky while sharing a bowl of grapes.

"How the stars are just made in these patterns... that no one understands." She continued.

Dinah sat still, nodding slightly. "Yeah. I suppose." She said, glancing over at Normani slowly.

"Is something bothering you? You seem a little off lately." Normani said, putting an arm on Dinah's shoulder. She quickly pulled it off when she felt her stiffen.
"Did I do something?"

Dinah looked down and shook her head. "No... not at all." She turned over and looked at Normani, avoiding her eyes. "I just can't do this."

Normani looked confused, she tried her hardest to make eye contact wuth her best friend. "You know that you can tell me anything, right?"

Dinah chuckled sadly and shook her head. "You don't feel the same." She stated, covering her face.

Normani bit down on her bottom lip, trying to understand. "You know that I love you, and I-"

Dinah shook her head and cut her off. "That's not enough."

Normani didn't know what to do. She panicked, and so she leaned in after moving Dinah's hands away from her face.

"Don't fucking kiss me!" Dinah shouted, pushing her away. "Don't feel sorry for me because you're a straight girl and I'm not. Don't act like you don't judge me for this. Don't act like you could possibly like me because you're just going to lead me on. I don't want your pity."

Normani jumped and shifted slightly, shaking her head. "I'm not going to fucking judge you, Dinah. And I'm sorry that I'm fucking straight alright? I'm sorry that I don't have feelings for you..."

Dinah laughed and stood up, shaking her head. "No, you're not. You've been walking around with your stupid boytoy for weeks. You're not sorry."

Normani looked down. "I can't force feelings, Dinah. Either accept me the way I am, or just leave."

With that, Normani stood up, leaving and walking inside her house. Dinah felt a tear escape her eye before standing up and walking home.

-

"Camila, have you talked to Lauren?"

Camila stayed still, not wanting to answer. But she did.

"Yeah, I have. Sorta. She basically told me to walk the fuck away." She chuckled sadly, looking down at her hands.

"Camila, was she the one?" Dinah asked, looking at her. "Did you give your virginity to Lauren?"
