New book 😅 hope you enjoy this one.

~Eva's POV~

"Happy birthday baby!" My boyfriend shouts through the music booming around the house.

"Thank you!" I shout back and attach my lips to his "I love you Luke."

"I love you more." Luke put his hands on the back of my thighs and I jumped, wrapping my legs around his waist. He set me down on the kitchen counter and rubbed up and down my upper legs.

"This is one hell of a party isn't it?" He asked. I nodded my head and rested it on Luke's shoulder.

He's so comforting and loving.

I love him so much. I can't imagine being with anyone else.

"Where's the birthday girl?" I heard someone yell from behind me. I lifted my head and ran to the person. My best friend. My best friend for the past 12 years. The person that's been through everything with me.

"Cammy!" I ran into his arms and practically knocked him down. I stood up and helped Cam up.

"Happy birthday!" He kissed my forehead and hugged me once again. I looked over his shoulder to see his girlfriend Madison.

"Hey Mads!" I smiled and hugged her. I pulled away to see her with a fake smile plastered on her face, probably the worst one I've ever seen. "Happy birthday Eva." She said and rolled her eyes. She's never liked me. I don't know why.

I walked over to Luke and he wrapped his arm around my waist. "So is it time for our walk?" Cameron asked. Every year, we take a walk on each others birthdays.

"I think it is." I said. I got out of Luke's grip and walked with Cameron out the door.

"It's pretty cold out here." Cameron shivered. I looked around at the white, snow covered ground.

"Man up." I grabbed a snow ball and threw it at his face. His mouth formed an 'o' shape and I laughed. He ran towards me and I tried to run away until I slipped on ice that suddenly showed up.

Well thanks nature. Note the sarcasm.

I groaned at the pain in my butt. I saw Cameron running towards me, laughing the hardest laugh I've ever seen. "You...fell...so...hard." He said between laughs. He stuck his hand out to help me but when I reached out for it, he brought his hand back to his body and laughed even harder. "Why...how...you keep on falling for that!" He said out of breath.

I laid back on the soft snow and waited for Cam to stop laughing. It took about 10 minutes for him to calm down. "You ready yet?" I rolled my eyes.

"Aw, baby, don't be upset." He laid next to me on the snow. We looked up at the stars in silence. I felt something wet and cold crawling up my legs. That when I remembered that I was wearing a skirt. I stood up and wiped off my cold legs.

"We should get back before anyone thinks I'm missing or something." I said and rubbed my arms through my sweater, attempting to keep myself warm. Cameron got up and brushed off his pants.
"I bet I can beat you." Cameron smirks.

*8 years earlier*

"I bet I can beat you." Cameron said.

I was not loosing on my 10th birthday.
"No way. I'm definitely going to beat you."

We got into our starting positions.
"On your mark...get set...go!" We both shouted. I darted towards my house. I looked in front of me, not even bothering to look back. I'm winning and I don't need distractions.  Right when I was about to cross 'the finish line', aka, my jump rope I accidentally left out, I tripped on a rock and fell on my knee.
