Let's Be Short

A/n that's my H2o Delirious shirt!!

I really did not want to see him right now. I mean sure, every one wants to be around their crush, sorta. My mind is a mess right now and I just want to be alone.

"Hey! Where are you heading?" He asks. He's brown eyes stick out from the dark clouds behind him. Of course he looks amazing with his simple blue hoodie and small smile.

"I'm going home." I turn and start walking again. He falls into step with me and I think about the girl at the restaurant who was eating with him. Who was she? It's eating at me.

Shivers rack through my body and I push my wet hair out of my face and hug my arms closer to my chest. I'm getting no heat. Just then a coat is draped over my shoulders. I almost snort. Right out of a movie.

I turn to Jonathan and say, "thanks." I slip my hands into the sleeves of his blue hoodie. Not to be a creep but it smells amazing.

He scoffs from behind me. "Wasn't that the moment that you were supposed to reject the jacket because girls are strong or something like that?"

It's my turn to scoff. I flip the hood of it up and stuff my face into the neckline. "Heck no! It's freezing! You can suffer until we get to my house." I'm surprised with my words. I guess he's coming to my house.

"Welcome to my humble home," I grumble. My bad mood hasn't lifted and Jonathan is not helping. He just keeps making comments about it. "Take off your shoes."

I start walking to my room to get changed. I hear him follow in behind me.

"I don't think it's natural to grumble like that." He comments and once again annoying me.

"Please stop," I say finally. "I had a bad day and your comments aren't helping me." I turn to him to see him looking around my room without a care.

I grab a pair of super big sweatpants and my dads shirts and give it to him. "You can wear theses and I'll put your clothes in the dryer." He grabs them and stands up. "Do you want to watch a movie?"

"Sure. Ill wait for you in the living room." I nod and close the door. What to do with him.

I change and put everything in the dryer and go to the living room to see Jonathan in the middle of a pile of blankets in the middle of the room with snacks. Yes. This is what I need.

"I hope you don't mind that I put this together. I know you didn't have a good start of the day, but I wanted it to end good, ya know?" He kinda trails off. "Tadaa"

I smile a good smile and walk over to him. We get into the blankets, not too close and watch the movie.

"Do you feel better?" Jonathan asks after the movie is over and the popcorn is thrown about after a popcorn fight and different candies we didn't finish.

I did feel better. A lot better. "Yes I do. Thanks for this. For being here."

He looks down and smiles. I think of the girl again and my smile disappears. She's really pretty.

"So how competitive are you?" He raises an eyebrow. "I mean, I've seen when you game, but how much more can you be?"

He's confusing me now. Why does it matter how competitive I am?

"I'm pretty competitive in a lot of different things. Why?"

Jonathan scratched the back of his head. "Well," he starts. "There's this YouTube competition where all higher ranked YouTube gamers all find someone who has skill, but needs work and they train them and then they all compete against each other in all different games."

I have heard of the YouTube Games, but he wants me to do it?!? Holy, I don't think I can!!

"I don't know if I have the skill for that." I say nervously. I'm considering it. I would be spending more time with Jonathan, which I'm always up for.

"That's the point! I'm going to be working with you to help out your skills! You'll be the best there. I've already seen your skills and their not that bad." He's leaning forward now. He knows that I'm considering it.

"When is it?" I start to bit my nails.

"This spring break."

"I'll do it."

This was kinda hard to write. I'm on a road trip right now and I wrote this on my iPod. I'm going to be in Las Vegas and then California. Ill be home on the 21st.
