Seuljin's POV - Wednesday, 8:00 a.m - Apartment, Hannam, Seoul
-
"Gosh, the toilets here are creepy" Jitae said, entering the room with a slightly horrified expression on her face ."I mean seriously.. did you guys check out what all those buttons do?! Really creepy I tell ya..."
Angel and I, who had been sitting on the big brown leather couch in the living room looking through maps and brochures of sights to see in South Korea, broke out in laughter.
"Out of all of them I find the butt squirting thing the most disturbing" Angel said after the laughing had died down a bit.
"Well, at least we didn't end up with a squat toilet." I said, causing another round of laughter to break out. I don't know what I would've done if we had ended up with one, but one thing was for sure: I wouldn't have used it.
"What's all the laughing about?" Jaehee asked as she walked into the room rubbing the sleep out of her eyes. I don't know why, but the sight made me laugh even harder.
"Have you used the toilet yet?" Jitae replied through her laughs. Jaehee stood in the doorway with the same look on her face that Jitae had had earlier.
"Yes..." she breathed. "I scared the living shit out of me when I went to the bathroom in the middle of the night." I couldn't help it I started laughing so hard that I fell to the floor and tears started streaming down my face. A thump and a hysterically crazy laugh coming from across the room told me that Jitae had also fallen to the ground laughing and I could see Angel laying on the couch laughing. Jaehee had also begun laughing leaning on the wall to keep herself from falling.
My stomach started hurting from all the laughing so I began taking deep breaths to calm myself down and I could tell the other were doing the same.
When we had all calmed down and I had sat myself back down on the couch and Jitae and Jaehee had squished themselves down beside us, I pulled my notebook across the table and showed them some of the destinations Angel and I had chosen for the touristy part of the trip.
"Let's go wake the others up and show this to them over breakfast." Angel suggested.
Since we were already slightly hyper this morning and because it's just what friends do, we burst in to each of the rooms one at a time shouting and jumping all over Minji, Jingya and Yuka till they woke up.
About ten minutes later we were all sitting at the dinning room table eating breakfast in silence when Yuka suddenly spoke up.
"What's up with the toilet?" She asked. Angel, Jitae, Jaehee and I all face-palmed ourselves as we shook our heads giggling.
"Whaaaat?!" Yuka asked looking confused. "Nothing... we just... we said the same thing earlier." Angel said while the rest of nodded "The toilet is a creepy monster." A round of howling laughs went around the table.
"Anyway. Enough with the creepy monster toilet, on to our plans." I said pushing the brochures we had been looking at earlier on to the table. "We've been looking for some places to go on the days where there aren't any fanmeetings, concerts or anything."
"Lotte world, Insadong, Itaewon, Carribean bay water park... I wanna do all this stuff!" Minji exlaimed.
"I wanna go to the Gwangali beach!" Jingya shouted.
"I'd like to see the Changyeong Palace and go up the Seoul tower!" Jitae added in.
"We have to look in to what we all wanna do later. We have to get ready to go, it's getting late." I looked at the clock hanging on the wall. "It's just after 9. Oh and remember guys, we have to watch our budget." I winked at them. This is definitely an expensive trip. I'm still baffled at the fact that we all managed to scrap up enough money to actually go through with this. We all got up and cleared the table and got ready to leave.
When we were ready we locked up the apartment and headed down to the bus stop.

Jamwon Park - 10:00 a.m

After we got off the bus, we aimlessly started walking in the direction we hoped the park was. Of course in all of the excitement we had been in we had forgotten to get maps so we could find our way around, so Jitae and Minji were busy messing around with their phones looking for a decent map we could use while we guided them to... wherever we were going.
"I found something!" Minji exclaimed and looked up at our surroundings. "By the look of things it should be just up ahead."
"Right! Let's gooooooo!" Yuka exclaimed. "We should make a meeting point just in case we get lost."
That was a good idea although the park wasn't all that big. "Alright. I'd say we meet at the basketball court if anyone gets lost, okay?"
We started to head off towards the other end of the park keeping a look out for any familiar faces. Familiar Idol faces. It was kinda late for any Idols to be out in the park. I think... From what I know they usually get up to exercise fairly early so they wouldn't be here this late, would they?
Even if we didn't see any I know Jitae had packed a volleyball that she brought with her so we could hang out and play volleyball if we didn't see anyone.
Within about 20 minutes we had reached the other end of the park with no sign of any Idols. "Oh well... I was kinda expected though." Jingya sighed voice all of our slightly disappointed thoughts.
"Guess we'll be spending the afternoon playing volleyball then." Jitae said pulling her ball out of her bag. "I saw a volleyball court back there beside the basketball court."
Slowly we all headed back towards the courts. Despite the fact that we had already searched the park thoroughly I could tell that everyone was still scanning in with their lasts bits of hope.
When we reached the court with still no sign of any Idols we split into two groups of three with a substitute that would take the side of the serving team after a switch so the teams were constantly rotating.
We played like that for a long time. An hour and half or two hours maybe. As tiring as it was it was fun to be playing with these girls and it took our minds off what we had originally come here for.
Exhausted we grabbed all our stuff from where we had deposited it at the side of the court and went and picked out a nice spot in the grass to set up our pick-nick.
We had just sat down and started eating and chit-chatting about the game when someone tapped on my shoulder.
"Um, excuse me." A male voice with a heavy accent said. I looked around at the girls who had frozen with their eyes wide staring at whoever it was. I couldn't decipher whether the expression covering their faces were surprise, shock or fear, so I slowly turned my head up to see who it was just at the person continued speaking.
"Are you that girl from the airport?" he asked.
'Oh my god.' I thought.

Soo... hope you liked it. Sorry about the toilet part... I was watching random videos on youtube before writing this and I somehow ended up watching a video about Korean toilets and just had to add something about it in this.. here's the link just in case you're curious: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vT6vaWaz8fg
Anyway.. School has started, so I'll probably only be updating on weekends from now on. Maybe on Mondays or Tuesdays depending on how much homework I get and when my exams start, but yeah.. I'll try to update as much as I can ;)
