Chapter 37

Yoosol's POV - Saturday, 7:45 - SM Town

I followed the CEO down the hall and up a flight of stairs. I had no idea where he was taking me, but he told me not to worry. At the end of the next hall we went down he took me into a room that looked like a dance studio. The three men sat down at the table in front of the famous could wall of SM and asked me to stand in the middle of the room.

"Kim Yoosol. We have been requested by Sung Changmin to audition you, do you accept?"

Um, okay? What happened to Pledis?

"Uh, sure." I said nervously. I had nothing prepared for this. I'm not even sure if I'm good at anything.

The CEO nodded. "Kim Yoosol, if you were to be in an idol group, which position would you prefer to be: Vocals, Dance or Rap?"

"Um, I'm not sure. Vocals or Dance, I guess."

"Okay, well start with vocals then. You may sing what ever you like."

That's a really hard choice. I ended up settling for Seventeen's vocal unit's 20.

"That's it, Thank you very much, miss Kim, you may go back to the waiting room." the CEO announced after I had presented and song, rap and dance for them.

I left the room and went back down to the others.

"What did they want?" Yuka asked jumping up from her seat when I entered the room.

I looked for Changmin and stared her down as I spoke. "They auditioned me."

"What?!" they all looked at me surprised.

"Yup." I said plainly.

"Changmin! I thought you cancelled the audition!" Seuljin shouted.

"I never said I cancelled it, nor did I say that I didn't cancel it." Changmin said calmly.

"What then?!" I shouted at her. "Are you throwing all your work to waste now?! Do you think this is a joke?!"

"No. Calm down. I asked them to pass the auditions on to Pledis and they agreed. Yoosol was the only one missing so I asked them to audition her as well, okay?" she explained.

"Fine, but why on earth would they agree to that? They would agree on something like that so easily, they must have asked for something in return." I asked.

"They did, but it has nothing to do with you guys, I swear my life on that."

"And how are we supposed to believe that?" Minji asked.

"Drop it guys. If Changmin swears her life on something, she means it." Jitae waved her hand and looked out the window.

"Thanks." Changmin muttered.

"Don't thank me, I'm done with you." Jitae retorted without looking at her. Changmin nodded as the CEO came in.

"As requested, the auditions will be passed on to the CEO of Pledis Entertainment. You are all free to leave." We all bowed to him and thanked him. "Sung Changmin, come with me." He said and left the room. Changmin got up and followed him without a single word. No 'good luck' or even 'good bye'. Jitae watched her go with a judging look, but didn't say anything either.

"Is something wrong?" I asked Jitae after she had been staring at the door Changmin had just left through for a few minutes.

"She gave herself up to SM." she responded simply and got up to leave.

"Hey," Jun came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist as everyone started getting ready to leave. "Guess what we're allowed to do if the CEO accepts you guys." I smiled and turned around in his arms and hugged him back tightly.
