Chapter 22

Jingya's POV - Saturday, 6:00p.m - Toppdogg's Studio

Due to the fact that the groups were mixed, like rappers, dancers and vocals together in sub-units I mean, we were a bit more productful than we had been with seventeen yesterday.

Yesterday Jitae and I had both been with the vocal unit, but today we the majority of our group was rappers so we got to try rapping as well as singing today.

Unlike what we did yesterday, the little performances we put together included the toppdogg members, so to make it easy on Gohn I chose to sing meanwhile Jitae rapped, otherwise Gohn would be the only singer out of 5.

Getting the chance to perform like this together with Toppdogg, which uo until today I barely knew anything about, was so awesome. These boys are so much fun to be around and to be honest I find that the performances we put together with them were much more fun than the ones with seventeen. No offense. Maybe it's because they participated in the performance instead of just teaching us or maybe it's because they're different kinds of people.

Our team started off with powerful a rap, of course with three rappers and then our vocals. I had no idea I could sing like this. Compared to this when I sang at home I sang 'half-heartedly' as Gohn had put it. He showed me techniques on how to make my singing more powerful. I had shocked myself when I had first tried it.

The second group was the Dragons. Yuka was alone with P-Goon and Sangdo. At first I was a bit worried about how it was gonna work out for them with just three, but I honestly have to say, their performance was probably the most hilarious. I'm gonna have to ask Yuka later whose idea it was to sing about the monster toilets.

The wizards performance was concentrated on dance, but they also built some vocals into it. Out of all the groups they were the only ones who really put together any choreography. The rest of us had just gone with freestyle moves while we were performing.

The knights performance was so emotional. I don't know what I was expecting from them, but this was definitely not it. Afterwards Jitae explained to me what situation Kidoh was in and it made a bit more sense. I felt sorry for him, but right now unlike earlier he seemed really happy. Jaehee and Angel must have done something.

"Sooo..." Kidoh said after everyone had finisned and we had gone back to the kitchen to make something for dinner. "I was thinking, since all of our performances turned out pretty good.. maybe we could do an event sometime with you guys and perform them."

Everyone went silent and stared at him.

"That would cause a huge uproar don't you think, Kidoh?" Jenissi said going back to cutting up some veggies.

"Yeah and? We can say they won some competition we did and this was their prize or sonething."

"But we didn't do any competition. And it won't take long for people to figure that out." B-joo pointed out.

"Then we'll make one and say they're the winners." Kidoh nodded towards us.

"If anyone figures out we'll be in big trouble. That idea is very risky." P-Goon told him. "We should wait a bit, maybe we'll come up with something better."

"I have to agree with P-Goon on this," Nakta butted in, "but after that project I can also see where Kidoh is coming from. Maybe they could come with us backstage for our comeback performance."

"WHAT?!?" I yelped. I-if they did that then w-we would get to meet all kinds of idols. Oh my gosh. Please. Please let this happen.

"That could be possible. We could sneak them in as part of our prep crew or something." Yano said.

H-hooooly. What the heck is going on.

"What about the company? What are we going to tell them?" Hansol asked.

"The company already knows about them being here. Rome talked to them first." P-Goon explained.

"Rome? C-Clown's Rome? He organized this all?" B-Joo started at P-Goon surprised then turned to us when he nodded. "How do you guys know Rome?"

Uh oh. Minji's gonna be in trouble.

"Um.. we met him at a store the other day..." Seuljin told him.

"And you instanly became best buddies with him?" B-Joo asked.

We all turned to Minji who smiled embarassedly and answered quietly. "Yeah, you could say that."

I jumped into save her. "So yeah, Rome organized this for us and bla, as you were saying P-Goon the company already knows?"

"Uh, yes, the company knows so they probably won't have that much of a problem with it. You guys will just have to make sure to keep of out the way of others and not to break anything."

We all nodded excitedly. "We won't, thank you guys so much!" Jitae said practically jumping up and down. "When is your comeback?"

"Thursday on M-countdown." P-Goon said.

"That's that then." Seuljin said with a big grin "Thursday, backstage at M-countdown with Toppdogg."

S.coups's POV - 10:00 p.m - Seventeen's studio, Gangnam

We had been practicing for hours. I was trying to forget, push the thoughts aside, but everytime I had finally forgotten, her face popped back up in my mind. I hope that whatever she was doing today she was alright. I want to see so bad, but after what Yoosol said earlier? I'm scared that whatever Changmin has planned is going to hurt her even more so I'll have to suck it up for as long as I can.

Seuljin no matter what happens, please forgive me.

"Guys, we have five days left till our comeback! If we keep this up we might as well forget it!" Hoshi shouted at us after yet another failed attempt. "Especially you Coups-hyung, you're supposed to be our leader. I know it's hard right now, but we have to go through with it."

I nodded my head. It's pretty bad when you're the leader and your dongsaengs have to tell you off.

"How about this:" Jeonghan placed his hand on my shoulder. "We all work hard and do good for our comeback and then we'll go visit the girls as a reward. By then a few days will have gone by and they'll have calmed down, alright?"

I nodded again then looked up at everyone and gathered my pride as leader. "Jeonghan is right. We should do it that way. Seeing the girls will be our reward, so snap out of it boys and do your best!"
