"Are you coming over to Calum's apartment with me, or are you just going to stay on the couch all day eating and watching Netflix?" Jess asked, standing in front of the television so I couldn't see what was happening in American Horror Story.

I paused the television and shrugged. "I think I'll stay here," I answered, shoving another handful of popcorn in my mouth.

Jess rolled her eyes. "You're so lazy Aoife," she said, grabbing the now empty bowl of popcorn off me and throwing it in the sink. "Get off your ass and come with me."

I turned up the volume on the TV and pressed play. Tate's face appeared on the screen and I put my hands over my heart. "Oh my god Jess, isn't he just so perfect," I said, swooning at him.

Jess walked in front of the TV again and I paused it, annoyed at how she was acting this morning. "He's not as gorgeous as Ashton," she replied, smiling to herself. I made a gagging noise and she glared at me.

"You're coming with me," she snapped, reaching behind the television and plugging it out of the socket. Tate's face disappeared and the screen went blank. I sighed angrily at her. "What did you do that for?"

She rose her eyebrows. "You need fresh air. Your way of living is similar to a caged animals'."

"Fine mom." I stuck out my tongue at her and pulled on my converse.

She flicked her hair over her shoulder and opened the door, stepping out into the hallway. I followed unwillingly.

We walked to Calum's apartment, which was about twenty minutes from our own. Jess pushed a buzzer at the main doors, while I gazed up at the huge building. It was much fancier than our one. The windows were all large and I could see a chandelier in the reception area.

A voice spoke up on the intercom and my attention returned to Jess. "Who is it?" A voice I recognised as Luke's said.

"It's Jess and Aoife," Jess replied, pulling her expensive handbag up her arm. I didn't quite feel like her twin as I stood there in my sweats and baggy shirt, while she wore a pink skater dress and high heels.

"You may not come in Jess," Luke said, giggling. "Only Aoife can."

I smirked at Jess. "What? Why?" She asked.

"Because."

"Because what?"

"Answer my joke and you can come in," Luke replied. I sniggered at the surprised look on Jess's face.

"Just let me the fuck in."

"What's the cheese that you can't have?" He asked, his voice high pitched.

Jess frowned. "What--"

"Wait! What's the cheese that's not yours?"

"Um..."

"Nacho cheese!" Luke shrieked, laughing like he had actually told a funny joke. I giggled at his cuteness.

Suddenly another voice spoke over the intercom. "Shut up Luke! You've told that joke millions of times, and you always manage to ask it wrong! Just let them in already."

I could almost picture the frown on Luke's face as he pressed the buzzer. The door opened and me and Jess made our way up to Calum's apartment.

Jess burst in the door and I came in after her, shutting it behind me. Luke was laying on Michael's lap, even though they were just after arguing two seconds before. Ashton was sitting on the floor, a can of coke in his hand, and Calum was nowhere to be seen.

"That's the last time Luke answers the buzzer," Jess said, sitting down next to Ashton. I sat awkwardly on the armchair next to the couch.

"I know, right," Michael said, his voice muffled as his face was buried into Luke's shoulder. "He does that every time."
