Lilly's POV
Nothing else happened that weekend sense I was "grounded" but on Monday I finally got to leave the house, when I got ready I bounced down my stairs and went to leave, "You will come straight home after school or I will take your car away." "What, mom I have practice after school?" "Oh, okay go to practice and then straight home." I nodded my head and went to school.
I was putting books in my locker when someone grabbed my waist, I spun around, "Hey, you left something at my house." I sighed in relief and grabbed my phone from Luke's hands, "Thank you." I turned back to my locker and grabbed my history class stuff and Luke walked me to class, "See you in gym cutie." I smiled as he gave me a quick kiss goodbye and went into class.
Luke's POV
After first period was over I was on my way to Lilly's locker when I was suddenly pulled back, I dropped everything as I fell to the ground. Someone was on me and punching my face, after three blows I finally got the jackass off, I quickly got to my feet and looked down, my jaw dropped as I saw Kyle laying on the ground getting up. My face hurt pretty bad and I could see a crowd forming around us. He came back at me so I had no choice but to fight.
Lilly's POV
I was on my way to my locker after I got out of class, "Everyone come watch there's a fight in the main hall!" I looked towards the main hall and saw a circle forming, I headed that way pretty fast to see what was happening. I shoved through the crowd, I saw it was Kyle and Luke so I forced myself to the middle, "Stop!" I stood in the middle with my back to Kyle, starring at Luke, his face was already bruising, before I noticed anything else I was hit hard on the back of my head.
Ever since I was little I couldn't take a hit very well, from a girl maybe a couple but from a guy, especially a strong guy I couldn't take it. Everything went all blotchy as I fell to the ground.
Kyle's POV
I stood up and went to hit him again, I heard someone say stop I just figured it was a teacher, I grabbed a textbook from my bag and I was already swinging when I saw Lilly's long blond hair swing in front of me, next thing I know everyone was gasping and Lilly was on the floor, Luke tried to catch her but failed and was next to her, trying to wake her up. My stomach hurt I felt tears forming in my eyes, I slowly backed up and dropped the book, the crowd was still and some people was screaming, everything was muffled. When I got out of the crowd I turned and ran for the student parking lot.
Lilly's POV
I woke up a little I could barley hear a siren, I saw a lady in light blue and white, everything was still blurry, I realized that I was in an ambulance and calmed down, my eyes rolled back and everything went black again.
"Lilly, come on baby wake up." I heard my moms voice, I opened my eyes and saw her teary eyes in front of my face. She wrapped her arms around me, "The doctors said that you had a concussion, no one thought you would wake up so soon." she was crying hard and lifted off of me, then the door swung open and Luke ran over to the bed, he practically lifted me out of the bed planting kisses all over my head, he was crying too.
Luke's POV
"Someone call an ambulance!" Stacy ran up to me, "Oh my god! I will call her mom." Shortly after the ambulance took her Grace showed up and picked me and Stacy up.
"Where is Lilly, my daughter, the one from the school accident!" "Ma.." the worker was interrupted from a doctor, "She got here about ten minutes ago, only immediate family can go see her...she has a concussion, it's bad."
