ch-41 Small fights

Hamza- but I don't think I'll ever receive her forgiveness bhai. He said looking down again while aadil sighed.

Aadil- forgiveness is earned bacha, and for that you should not lose hope. He said and hamza just nodded.

Hamza- jaisi aapki marzi bhai, aap mujhe jab maaf karna chahte hai tab kariye. (As you wish bhai, you can forgive me when you want). He said forcing a smile and then left the room leaving aadil lost in thoughts.

Dinner time

Everyone came to the dining hall and settled down in their seats. As the food was served everyone started eating while talking to each other. That's when mustafa spoke gently.

Mustafa- how was your first day aafiya? He asked and she looked at him.

Aafiya- not that good as I thought abbu. She said glancing at hamza for a second and he did the same.

Asra- why beta, was everything ok? She asked concerned while aafiya sighed.

Aafiya- everything was fine mumma, it's just that a senior irritated me early in the morning. She said and hamza gulped his food trying not to choke.

Shayan- really? Tell me his name, we'll take care of him. He said protectively.

Aafiya- no need for that bhai, I think I can take care of it by myself. She said giving him a small smile and he nodded.

Mustafa- what about you hamza? He asked and hamza lifted his head up to look at his father.

Hamza- it was good abbu. He said and continued his dinner while mustafa and asra shared a look. They knew their son was upset but he brought that onto himself so they couldn't interfere.

Mustafa- how is hannan? He asked suddenly and both his youngest children choked on their food. Aaban quickly gave water to hamza while zayan gave water to aafiya.

Saad- umm, what happened? Is everything alright? He asked feeling a little suspicious towards his siblings.

Aafiya- e-everything is fine bhai. She said composing herself and giving him a tight lipped smile. While hamza quickly spoke up.

Hamza- he's fine abbu, he said he'll visit soon to meet you all. He said and aafiya widened her eyes in shock.

Aafiya- no way! She exclaimed loudly and every head in the room turned towards her. She looked around and gave them a nervous smile. I mean that's good! She said and all of them returned to their dinner.

Saad- I feel something is off. He whispered to aadil who was beside him while giving a side eye to aafiya.

Aadil- hmm same feeling. He said giving a side eye to hamza.

Saad- you are becoming smart I see. He said and aadil glared at him.

Aadil- agar smart nahi hota toh khan enterprises ka jr.CEO nahi hota mai! (If I weren’t smart, I wouldn’t be the junior CEO of Khan Enterprises!) he said and saad rolled his eyes earning a whack on his head from aadil.

After dinner

Aaban- why didn't you tell abbu about hannan? He asked walking beside aafiya as they were heading to their rooms now.

Aafiya- i don't want to disturb him for this. Its not that of a big matter, and anyway I have you, if something goes wrong than you can still help me to deal with it na. She said as a matter of fact making aaban smile.
