ch-47 Betrayed?

Aafiya- what happened ayesha? Why do you look so frustrated? She asked as ayesha dragged her and took her to a corner.

Ayesha- i lied. She said making aafiya frown.

Aafiya- about what? She asked genuinely confused about her best friend's behavior.

Ayesha- that i don't love hamza anymore. She said and aafiya sighed.

Aafiya- ye tum mujhe puch rahi ho ya phir bata rahi ho? ( are you asking me or are you telling me?)She asked sarcastically and ayesha gave her a look.

Ayesha- aafiya yaar bhi serious. She whined.

Aafiya- no ayesha, you are the one who needs to be serious about your feelings. She said firmly making ayesha sigh.

Ayesha- i thought that i've stopped loving him ever since i got to know what he did to you. But i just locked my feelings out, my heart still beats rapidly when he smiles, i still blush when he greets me and I just can't ignore him now. I have been trying my best for days now, but still today just his nice behaviour made my mind a mess.

Aafiya- I can just tell you one thing ayesha, listen to what your heart says.

Ayesha- b-but he doesn't love me back. She said as sadness lingered in her eyes.

Aafiya- and how do you know that? She asked and ayesha sighed.

Ayesha- I just know he doesn't. Yes it's true he is always polite with me, and even I try to be calm near him, because I know he is changing...

Aafiya- and why do you think he is Polite with you? She asked folding her hands.

Ayesha- umm, i don't know...maybe because I am your best friend? She said as if being unsure herself.

Aafiya- ya allah what should I do with this girl! You idiot, obviously there are chances that he loves you too. Not just because you are my best friend, but because it's YOU. Remember the first time you guys met? Wasn't he still Polite with you even though you were ready to punch him? Don't you think it was love at first sight? And from a few days I am noticing how he greets you, how he finds reasons to talk with you, haven't you noticed that?

She asked making ayesha get lost in her thoughts. Aafiya was indeed telling the truth, why didn't SHE notice it? Oh yeah, she was ignoring him claiming that she doesn't love him anymore... But now that she thinks about it, maybe hamza really is in love with her, though hesitation still lingers in her heart about this thought.

Ayesha- I don't know aafiya, I am really confused. She said feeling defeated. Aafiya just kept a reassuring hand on her shoulder.

Aafiya- then start noticing ayesha, maybe then you'll find the truth, and finally confess your childhood love. She said the last sentence dramatically making ayesha frown.

Ayesha- it's not my childhood love! We were not in school or something. She said and aafiya chuckled.

Aafiya- ok ok as you say. She said and both of them laughed a little.

Ayesha- by the way, you are so good in giving advice on people's feelings, then what about you? Shouldn't you realise your feelings now too? She asked with a teasing smile making aafiya shocked a little.

Aafiya- w-what do you mean? I don't have feelings for anyone. She said avoiding eye-contact with her.

Ayesha- see, you give advice to me about my feelings but still didn't realise about your own feelings. She said making aafiya frown.
