ch-48 Mission

Both hannan and hamza turned together only to see ayesha standing behind them with her eyes widened. The shock on her face was enough for them to guess that she has heard everything, or maybe just the last part.

Hamza- ayesha... He said slowly breaking the silence between them. While ayesha stared at them in utter disbelief.

Ayesha- did I just hear that right, or am I day dreaming!?? She asked making them sigh.

Hannan- what did you exactly hear? He asked her.

Ayesha- That you are in love with my best friend! She exclaimed loudly and hamza quickly put his palm on her mouth stepping near her.

Hamza- shh, don't be that loud! What if someone hears. He said glancing at the door once not realising how close he was standing to her.

While ayesha just kept staring at him, her heartbeat fastened when he stepped so close to her, and she felt frozen. Hamza then looked at her and his gaze fixed on her eyes which were just looking at him with an emotion he probably knew but wouldn't admit.

Their moment was broken when hannan cleared his throat and both of them quickly backed away. Hannan looked at them with a knowing smirk making hamza glare at him. Though he just thought hannan was just teasing him, little did he know that his sister and best friend were rooting for something else.

Ayesha- finally my ship is sailing. She said wiping her fake tears after coming out of her dreamland. While hamza looked at hannan who was looking...shy?

Hamza- ye nai neveli dulhan ki tarah sharmana band kar, bilkul ghada lag raha hai! (Stop blushing like a newlywed bride,you look like a donkey!) He snapped at him not liking his face expression at all!

Hannan- Well this is how you feel after realising your love. He said with a shrug. Hamza rolled his eyes and looked at ayesha.

Hamza- where is aafiya?

Ayesha- she is outside, talking to our classmate. She said.

Hannan- ok now listen to me carefully, you will not say anything to her about this. He said making ayesha frown.

Ayesha- but why? Are you afraid she wouldn't like you back? If you are then it's understandable, because aafiya is still stuck on that boy. She said with a sigh. Hamza and hannan shared a look which ayesha noticed instantly. Ok, there's more to the conversation isn't it?

She asked with a knowing look making them sigh. Well she has to know one day, so why not now. So they told her everything, not leaving out a single detail as afterall she was aafiya's best friend.

Ayesha- umm, so the boy who helped my best friend and whom I hated a lot cause aafiya couldn't move on from him, is standing in front of me now, and his name is hannan Qureshi. She said still processing their words while they chuckled.

Hannan- ya you are absolutely right.

Ayesha- wow, after years, you both fell for each other again. There should be a drama written on this. She said making the duo shake their heads.

Hannan- well that's not needed at all. Because the actual drama is going to start now. He said with a sigh. Finding out if aafiya loved him back, telling her the truth and dealing with her five brothers, yup there really is going to be more drama!

Hamza- exclude me from your love life bro. He said with a low chuckle.

Hannan- and why would I?
