(Clementine's Pov)

I hear some light snoring as I slowly wake up. I looked to see the flames had dimmed down a bit and I slowly get up and set some wood on the fire to keep the cabin warm. I look outside to see more snow falling and I think about having to go out later today to get more wood. It seems like AJ and I would be here a little longer because the snow had reached to what looked like would be my knees. Did it really snow that much in such a short time? I then notice that it was snowing a little harder and I rubbed the back of my neck a bit.

I then look over to the couch to see Violet still sleeping so I go back over to her and lay back in my spot. She moved her hand a bit to place it back onto my back and she rubs it a bit. It felt nice but I felt bad if I did wake her up. I look to her a bit and she has one eye open as she looked to me and I lay my head back on her chest.

"Cold?" She asked.

"No, just wanted to make sure we didn't wake up to a cold cabin." I tell her and she nods.

"I'll get some more wood in a bit." She says quietly.

"Hmm, snowing pretty hard out there... think we should get it now?" I asked as she sits up a bit and looked to the window.

"Fuck... yeah now would be best before it's all covered up." She says and I nod as we both get up and get our heavy jackets and boots on. She grabbed her rifle and I grabbed my pistol as we walked out the door. Violet and I head to the back of the cabin and we would grab as much wood as we could then bring it inside. It took a good seven to eight trips before we felt like we had enough for the next week or even two.

"Well, if we get stuck in the storm, we can at least be warm." She says quietly and I nod. I look to her a bit and she looked to me. She then patted my shoulder gently and I watch as she headed over to the window a bit.

"Doubt there is anything in the traps... if the snow isn't that bad in the morning I'll go out and check them." She says.

"I'll come with." I tell her and she nods.

"Alright... well we will look at the traps later and then, about two hours." She says and I nod. We go and take a seat on the couch and she looked to me. She then looked to the side and I look at her more. she then grabbed her guitar and she looked to it and then strummed a few strings. I notice her look to the window and then to her guitar then back to the window.

"Something wrong?" I ask her and she looked to me a bit.

"No nothing is wrong." She tells me and I look back to the window. A few days pass and we had gotten a deer. We were just taking it the cabin to clean it when I notice a set of footprints that wasn't ours. I see Violet looking at them as well and she looked up to me. We head to the cabin and set the deer to the side as I held my gun and Violet had her rifle up. AJ was behind up and I open the door and turn my head to the side and saw someone raising their hands up and I keep my gun on them.

"The fuck." They say and Violet comes in and she points their rifle at the person.

"Jesus fuck... Till." I mutter and shake my head.

"Clem... how are you?" She asked and I just look to her.

"Um... so nothing?" She asked.

"Who the fuck are you?" Violet asked and I look to her then to Till and I shake my head.

"I'm Till and you are?" She responds to Violet.

"Violet... how do you know Clem?" Violet asked.

"She was with my group; how do you know Clem?" She asked Violet.
