The Last Dance

"It takes the smallest things to change our lives forever. A song, a person, a picture.
We are so fragile beings that anything is able to touch our souls and taint us.

I had once danced with a man, who's body molded into mine, like we were two puzzle pieces made just for each other. We moved, to a song only we were able to hear, and that few moments we had with each other was a memory so beautiful, it has been engraved in my mind forever.

The problem with us people, is that we easily fall into our own beliefs and assumptions. And like everyone else, I fell instantly in love with the idea that he was made for me.

Years after that dance, I saw him again.

He still danced as mesmerizingly as I remembered, gliding on the floors like waves retreat from the ocean shore.

It was almost like watching him and I again, in a moment that existed only in movies.
