"Being with him was like being in a car crash.

I remember how it all started out. I remember the gentle purr of the engine as he gracefully turned the key, and I remember how he looked at me; with the wind in my hair and a a smile on my face as we slowly moved forward.

I remember the journey. I remember what song was playing on the radio as I laughed at his silly imitations of the singer's voice, and what shade of blue reflected on his eyes as we drove past the sea.

I remember our collision. I remember how everything happened so fast. One minute, we were so happy. And the next, we were swerving off the road, and falling continuously, and I felt we wouldn't stop.

I remember the blue and red lights, and people shouting, and the feeling of cold red liquid dripping down my face.

I remember the moment the light in his eyes died as he mouthed his last three words to me.

I love you. "- miranda j.
