Robin's POV:
2 weeks later
After Stella left Ted at the altar I felt sorry for him because I wanted him to be happy, but I was also kinda relieved to know that he wasn't gone forever. But the other thing was that we haven't talked to each other since our fight at the wedding. Whenever we sat at our booth together with the others we didn't even look at each other.
Once I bumped into him when we were both on our way to Mc Laren's. I wanted to say, "Sorry!", but he didn't even look at me. He just walked past me. I mean, don't get me wrong, I still love him, but I'm getting angry over this, too. Yes, you shouldn't say such things to someone at their wedding, but he hurt me, too! So I was really surprised when he gave me a call. "Hey Robin! I...umm...I think we need to talk... Would you mind coming over?", he said. It was good to hear the warm sound of his voice again. "I... OK, I - I'm coming!", I stuttered.
A bit later
We sat down on the couch and for a while, nobody said a word. Then suddenly Ted said, "Robin... I - I'm sorry... for...for what I said to you at the wedding..." "I'm sorry, too. I know that I shouldn't have said such things and -" "No, Robin, you were right. I thought about it and realized that you were absolutely right. You know, there was one sentence that was stuck in my head for days." "Which one?", I asked. "Well, maybe there is.", Ted replied shyly. "Oh...", I said and bit my lip. "It's just... You were so right with that sentence...", he said right before he kissed me.
