Something Great

Ted's POV:

A few weeks later

Robin and I were sitting at the table of the restaurant, where I stole the Blue French Horn for her and were having a romantic dinner. I had booked the best table because tonight was a special night. I was not going to propose to her, not yet, but I had bought two flight tickets to the Maledives and I wanted to tell her about it in a "special atmosphere".

"So... What did you want to tell me, honey?", Robin asked curiously with a smile on her face. "The thing is: I have great news, really great news. I booked something", I said slowly. "Please tell me it's not a strip club!", she begged. "Robin... We already talked about such things, darling!", I said smiling. "Just kidding!", she said and we both laughed. "So...", I continued, "I booked something great!" Now I couldn't hold it back anymore, I had to tell her. "We're flying to the Maledives!", I screamed and jumped up from my chair. "What?!", she screamed with wide- opened eyes. "Yes! I booked a flight and already bought the tickets!" "Oh my god!" Robin fell into my arms and laughed happily. "But why did you spend all that money? Why didn't you tell me about it? I would've paid some of it!" "Because I wanted to make you happy!" "Oh, you did, Ted! You totally did!"

She kissed me hard and I hugged her tight. I was so happy with her, she was the woman of my dreams. "I'm the luckiest man in the world because I got you!", I whispered. "And I'm the luckiest woman!", she said before kissing me again.
