Robin's POV:

A week later

"Wow, I didn't even imagine it would be so beautiful!", I said and looked at the sinking sun. I was lying on a deck chair, drinking a cocktail and watching the sun go down. Ted was right next to me, doing the same. It was our third day on the Maledives today and everything had been awesome. The beach was so beautiful and the hotel we stayed at was very nice. But the best thing about it was, that I could spend this time with Ted, the love of my life. Right now he said, "Me neither. But did you know they have some clubs and good restaurants here? We could go out tonight", Ted said. I turned to him and smiled. "Great idea!" "OK, then go and get dressed, I have to pay for our drinks!" He stood up and wanted to go, but I stopped him. "Wait, I forgot something!", I said. He turned around and asked, "What?" "This.", I whispered and kissed him soft on his lips.

Later, at night

"So... Where does the lady want to go?", Ted asked in a deep voice with British accent. I laughed and took his hand. "I think that restaurant at the beach would be nice, Sir Mosby", I answered. "OK, then, let's go!"

When we arrived there, we could barely find a free table because there were so many people. "Seems like you were not the only one who liked this place!", Ted joked. "Yeah, you're right", I laughed. But we still had a great night, not only because Ted ordered my favourite food, but also because of our conversations. We talked about our jobs and our relationship. Suddenly he said, "Who knows, maybe somebody of us will take the next step, maybe even sooner than we think..." Wait, what?! Did he want to... Would he maybe...? Did Ted actually plan to propose to me? OMG! If he did, I'd immediately say, "Yes!" Wow, now I was really excited...
