As I walked up too the board I noticed that quite a lot of the patients were highlighted red, meaning that they've been here longer than they should have. I think I should work my way through these first.
Number 1) Elizabeth Jefferson - flu?
Let's start with her...
"Elizabeth Jefferson?" I asked everyone in the waiting area
"Yes, that's me." replied a middle aged woman
"Okay, come with me" I said while leading her to cubicles. "So, I am Dr Hardy. What seems to be your problem?"
"I can't stop sneezing, coughing and I have a headache." Elizabeth said while rubbing her forehead.
"Okay, to me this just seems like the flu but I'm going to send you for a head CT just to make sure everythings fine...im about 99.9% sure it is. I will see you in a bit, a porter will come for you soon."
"Thank you Dr Hardy." said Miss Jefferson

"Max?" I asked
"Yeah, Amelia?" Max replied
"Could you please take Miss Jefferson, in cubicle 3, up to CT please?"
"Of course" he said while winking
Does Max like me? Why did he wink at me?...
********
"Hello again Miss Jefferson, I've had a look at your CT scan and everything is absolutely perfect. I have a prescription here for you which you just need to take to the pharmacy on the second floor."
"Great! Thank you" she replied.
That's one patient down!
