Chapter 15

Amelia's POV
"Right, your tests and x-Rays are back. Your vitals are all fine, which is good and your neck is fine also. But, you have broken both of your legs and you'll need an operation..." I said
"Urgh! Really? When will that get done?" Steven asked
"Your operation is scheduled for tomorrow at 3pm unless another space becomes available."
"Okay." He replied, "Amelia, I'm so sorry for what happened...I never wanted to leave you, it was a drunken mistake. Can we try again?"
"No Steven we can't. You can't do that and get away with it." I said annoyed. "It's the end of my shift now Steven, I'll see you tomorrow"

Finally, I can leave! Time for drinks with Ethan and Cal then out with Max later.

Caleb's POV
I made my way to reception as that's where I'm supposed too meet Amelia and Ethan, I really can't believe that she's here. Little Amelia, all grown up! There's quite an age gap between us so I can remember when she was born.

"Ethan!" I shouted across reception
"Caleb! Where's Amelia?" He asked
"She should be coming soon, an RTC came in not so long ago so she'll probably be sorting that out" I replied

Amelia's POV

"Caleb and Ethan!" I shouted
"Amelia!" They said in unison
"Where are we going?" I asked
"Pub across the road? is that okay?" Asked Caleb
"Yeah that's fine" I replied

We only walked for about a minute and we were already there. It seems nice, quite homely. There was quite a few people from the hospital here too but we sat on the other side of the room.

"Erm...what do yous want?" I asked them
"Don't worry, I'll get this one." Said Ethan
"You don't have too..' I said
"I do, what do yous want?" Ethan replied
"Pint" said Caleb
"Orange juice please" I said
"Really? just orange juice?"
"Yes" I said bluntly, "sorry"

Then Ethan walked off to the get the drinks.

"How was the RTC?" Asked Caleb
"Okay I guess, 2 broken legs that's all....and it was my ex" I said inwardly
"Ex!" Caleb replied
"Yeah, I broke up with him about 2 months ago...he cheated on me when he was drunk!"
"Worthless! What's his name? And her name?" He replied annoyed

Such a typical big brother.

"Er...he's called Steven Craig and she's called Rita...Rita Freeman I think" I said
"Rita Freeman! She's a nurse at the hospital..." Said Caleb
"Fuck" I replied.
"Here's the drinks!" Said Ethan, "whoa, what's happening here?"
"Rita cheated with Craig...Amelia's boyfriend at the time!" Said Caleb
"Rita really?" Asked Ethan
"Yes!"said Caleb heading towards Rita's table...
