Not what I expected

Chapter 19

*The Morning After*

"Shit Max! What time is it?" I asked
"8am..." He replied
"Fuck, I need to be at the ED at 8:30am, order me a taxi please?" I said then kissed him
"Of course sweetheart, go get your self dressed" he replied, "oh and Robyn and Lofty don't know you're here...but they've already left"
"I'll tell Robyn when I get there, if we are a thing right?"
"Yeah" he said "dragging me back into bed"
"I can't max, I need to get dressed and you need to order a taxi for 8:15!" I said, walking into the bathroom.

Oh my Max is amazing! How am I going to tell Caleb? Shit, I didn't think about  that...

When I was dressed I walked into the bedroom to find Max already dressed.

"Why are you dressed?" I asked him
"I have work too! You nugget!"
"Oh...um how do I tell Caleb about us?" I asked cautiously
"Fuck, he'll kill me! But, it's worth it. Tell him straight away or just kiss in front of him" he said laughing
"I guess! Oh there's the taxi! I'm guessing people will know about us if we walk in together?" I said
"Definitely" he replied kissing me

We then both got into the taxi and headed off to Holby.

"Let's do this!" Said Max
"Okay! Hold my hand please?"
"Of course I will sweetie" said Max

And we both walked into the ED and were greeted by Robyn...

"Hey! Wait what?" She said confused
"Yeah well Max and I..." I replied
"That was you last night!"
"Yeah..." I replied
"Amelia, I have to go I'll see you in out break" he interrupted kissing me.

"Oooooh Amelia! Your with my brother! Omg I'm so excited!" Said Robyn
"He's your brother! Omg Robyn!"
"Amelia? Who knows?" Asked Robyn
"Only you...tell who you like. It will be less awkward than me doing it!" I said, "I don't know how I'm going to tell Caleb though..."
"Here's your chance!" She said running away.

"Amelia!" Said Caleb
"Hi....um" I replied anxiously
"Work?"
"Sure" I replied as he walked away to grab a file

I missed my chance! I guess it'll just have to wait...

I made my way over to the desk to talk to Rita.

"Hi Rita! About last night I'm so sorry about Caleb! I really don't have anything against you, just against Steven" I said "fresh start?"
"Please" she replied, "I saw you with Max last night...something happening there?" She said winking
"Yeah..."I replied
"Does Caleb know?" She asked
"No and I don't know how to tell him!"
"Where's max?" She asked
"I don't know, can you find him please?"
"Sure"
