Chapter 7- Starting point
Nelly's POV.
Harry and I jumped quickly from our embrace to see Niall. He was just standing there with his usual smile, bouncing up and down from the thought of food probably. I sighed and started to get out of the pool.
"Let me go change, I'll be there in a second." I told him as I walked toward the shower area. I turned it on and threw myself into the shower with my clothes still on. I soon jumped out and started to go into my room. Coming into the room, I changed out of my clothes and put on a shirt and a pair of jeans. Running down, I saw everyone by the kitchen with Chinese take-out food.
"Food!" I shouted, sliding down the banister the rest of the way.
"CHINESE FOOD!" Serena shouted. I laughed and grabbed a plate.
"Calm down girls, it's just food." A new guy came inside the mansion. He had a short-stubbly beard, scruffy-unkempt-shortish black hair, tan skin (Like he did a lot of working in the sun), and the chocolatiest eyes you have ever seen. Serena, Niall, and I looked at him.
"And you are?" Niall asked before stuffing his mouth with his food. I finished piling my plate, and took a seat at the table, with Harry on my right and Serena on my left.
"Apologizes, my name is Matt Pitt. Sadly, however, I am not related to Brad Pitt in anyway." He joked. I laughed as he awkwardly stood there.
"Well, come on! Join us!" I say before stuffing my face just like Niall. He smiles at me and takes a plate, piling food onto his. He sits beside, Kelly, sitting at the edge. The rest start talking about their day and when it goes onto me, I finished my mouthful.
"Eventful." I reply and start to eat my food quicker. Harry answers his as 'uneventful' before looking at me. I smile shyly at him first before standing up and putting my plate in the sink. I rush upstairs to the top floor and go one more level onto the roof. I go to the edge and see the city come alive and I sit down laying against the roof. I was lying on a flat part which looked like a balcony.
"You alright?" A voice asked. I closed my eyes, trying so desperately not to think of that moment.
"Sorta of, how about you Harry?" I asked quietly. He sat next to me, pulling his knees up and hugging them.
"Depending on what you mean by sorta of." He sighed. "I'm sorry for what happened by the pool... I just couldn't help it."
"You know what I hate." I stated. He turned to me, his eyes asking the question instead of his mouth.
"I hate how much that every reporter bashes you with every chance, when you aren't like that at all. You are one of the nicest guys that I know." I rambled, looking at the sky. "Nobody's perfect and the reporters seem to find that surprising. I hate that all the hate is toward you being a womanizer, and a flirt. Okay, sometimes you are a flirt, but you know..." I sighed as I leaned against him, exhausted,
"You're not the only one that hates it." He whispers. I stay against him and start singing randomly.
"there's no guarantee, that this will be easy.
it's not a miracle ya need, believe me.
Yeah, I'm no angel, I'm just me,
but I will love you endlessly." I sang quietly. If he only knew what those words actually meant. How actually they were true. I got up and smiled at him.
"I'm going to bed, I'll see you in the morning." I tell him as I walk into the mansion.
****
"I don't get it, why can't you come?" Niall asked.
