Naruto laughed along with his God father as they sat around the Kotatsu in the living room. Hinata had offered to clear the table, though Naruto had offered assistance, she declined the offer.
Jiraiya leaned over and whispered to the blonde, "you really got lucky this time kid."
"Eh? What do you mean Pervy Sage?"
"Your wife, she's-"
"I didn't even want to hear it," Naruto glared at him from the corners of his eyes. "You always have something perverted to say about girls."
Jiraiya laughed and slapped him on the back, Naruto was sent forward by the impact, but he continued glaring nonetheless. "I could really use her for further research on my book."
"Remind me never to bring her here again," Naruto muttered.
Jiraiya chuckled and picked up his cup filled with Sake. "I mean it though, I was always worried about who'd look after you when I'm gone. Now I see that you're in good hands."
Naruto scoffed, "yeah Hinata great and all, but..."
"But?"
Naruto laid his head against the Kotatsu before him. He faced the shōji that stood as a barrier between them and the rain that poured outside. "She's in love with someone else," he groaned.
"Really?" Jiraiya asked. "Because it doesn't look that way to me. Trust me kid, I'm an expert on these things."
Naruto smirked and sat up, "eh? Then why aren't you married?"
"If I got married, I wouldn't be able to do my research," he said taking another drink. Naruto deadpanned, "plus I'd never cast such misfortune on any woman by making you their God son."
"Hey! What's that supposed to mean Pervy Sage?!" Naruto exclaimed. Jiraiya laughed and shook his head at the young blonde.

"Whose was this again?" Sasuke asked looking down at the white shirt that hung loosely from his much skinner frame. The pajama bottoms didn't exactly fit either, but they weren't as bad as the shirt.
"My dad's," Sakura said stifling a laugh as she sat on the edge of the bed. He frowned at her knowing he looked ridiculous in the garments.
"I think I'll pass," he muttered removing the shirt. Sakura blushed and looked away.
"Suit yourself," she said. "Just put it in my closet."
The Uchiha did as he was told and climbed in bed beside sakura. She watched as he laid on his back and closed his eyes, taking a deep breath he got comfortable against the pillows. She turned and sat cross legged beside his outstretch body.
"So what now?" She asked.
"Now, we sleep," he said without opening his eyes.
Sakura rolled her jade green orbs and huff, "I mean where do we go from here?" He didn't answer, "I don't want to go back to your house."
Sasuke's eyes shot open and he narrowed them at her. "What?"
"If...if Karin is there then I don't want to go back there. The last time I was there she was wearing my clothes and boasting about how much you complimented her in them and how you two share a room now."
Sasuke grimaced, he could feel himself becoming physically sick from the thought of sharing a bed with Karin.
"Did she put you up to talking to our Principal?"
Sakura looked out the window, "she might have brought it up..."
Sasuke sighed, "fine, you don't have to move in again..." Sakura frowned at the thought of being away from Sasuke. "But I'm moving in with you."
