Two days passed since Niall had returned to London. Things were fairly normal. However, Harry’s normally large flat was starting to become close quarters for the four people staying there. Niall was going to be going back to his flat soon enough. Of course, he invited Becca to come along with him. He understood how hard it must have been for Becca to stay in Harry’s flat with the couple. It was hard for him, even with Becca there. He figured inviting her to stay with him wasn’t just out of kindness. He was doing her a favor.

Niall dropped his bags on the floor of his flat. “Shall I show you around?” Becca nodded. He took her hand and started pointing around. “Right. This is the living room and dining room actually. That’s the kitchen over there. Uh…that’s a bathroom. There’s another one closer to the bedrooms.” Pulling her through the flat, Niall took her into the guest room. “This is where you’ll be sleeping. It’s nice. Quaint. Usually where I come to play as you can see from the guitars. Through that door,” he pointed to a door across from them, “is your bathroom. It’s pretty much clean enough for you to eat off the floor.” He laughed and looked down at her. “Don’t eat off the floor.”

Becca giggled. “I don’t think I will.”

“Good. Kissin’ ya might be a little weird,” he laughed again. He nudged her to the door. “This is my room. Just a little bit down the hall if you need me for anything. And that’s the tour. How do you like it?”

“I like it. Very boyish. Not childish, but you can definitely tell a boy lives here,” she smiled. “Still, I like it very much.”

He grinned. “Well good. I’d move if you hated it.”

“No you wouldn’t,” she laughed.

“That’s true, but I’d rethink this place at least one,” he shrugged. “Come on. Let’s go get something to eat. I’m thinking McDonald’s.”

Becca lay the guest room bed. She and Niall had said goodnight only two hours before. She sighed she turned over onto her side. Sleep wasn’t coming to her quite like she needed it to. Maybe Niall not being in the bed next to her made it hard for her to sleep. Becca wasn’t really sure, but she knew she had spent the past few days sleeping next to him. At Harry’s, there was just a queen-size bed in the guest room. It was big enough for the two of them, but she missed his warmth being close enough to reach out and grab. With him in another room, she couldn’t just stretch her arms out for him.

After another hour of tossing and turning, she couldn’t take it anymore. She grabbed her stuffed Hello Kitty and started for the Irish boy’s room. She opened the door quietly, tiptoed over to Niall, and tapped him over.

He grunted before opening his eyes. “Becca, what’s wrong?”

“Hi,” she said quietly.

Niall sat up. “You alright?”

Becca sighed. “Can’t sleep.”

“Why not?” he asked, ruffling his hair a bit. She shrugged. He patted the bed so she could sit. “Are you feeling okay?”

She sat next to him. “I just can’t seem to fall asleep, but I’m fine.”

He moved over just a bit and held the covers up for her. “You can sleep here.”

“I don’t want to be an inconvenience.” She shook her head.

“You won’t,” he said, taking her hand and pulling her down to him. “Just try and get some sleep.”

She wrapped her arms around him. “So are you happy to be back in your own bed? I mean, it was nice of Harry to let you stay over, but sometimes being in your own bed is a lot more comforting.”
