"(y/n), time to wake up, runners are heading out" Minho said shaking your shoulders

You woke up and sighed "Minho, I'm tired" you whined sarcastically

He smirked and continued shaking you "lets go,(y/n)"

Again you sighed "I'm coming" you said

The two of you walked to the runners tent and got all ready, but before the two of you were about to leave Gally showed up.

"Hey runners, you are supposed to meet with someone before you leave, ya know that, right?" he said rudely

"What's it to you Gally?" you asked angrily "we were about to, before you rudely forced your ugly ass face in our business" you gritted between your teeth

"What was that (y/n)?" he asked, fist already clenched

"You heard me jack-ass" you said

He started to charge at you, but you deck him before he had the chance to hit you. His large form fell to the ground with a thud, and he was knocked out cold

Minho face palmed "you're going to get in so much trouble (y/n)"

You shrugged your shoulders just as Alby came in "Gally?" he asked nudging Gally's unconscious form. "(y/n)" he said sternly "come with me" he said

You looked to Minho who reassured you that it was alright to go. You walked next to him and into the leaders tent.

At first it seemed like Alby was calm but as soon as the door to the tent closed he was fumed "(y/n)! You really need to quit it with this attitude! One of our rules is to never hurt another Glader! I'm pretty sure that you have earned some time in the pit" he said

You sighed and nodded "I had a feeling that would happen" you said "will it fix anything if I tell you he was going to hit me first?" you asked, which only gained you a head shake

Alby walked you across the Glade to the pit, where you knew you'd have to stay for a couple of days.

"Minho!" you shouted from the floor of the maze. A tragic fall from the top of the wall left you on the floor, broken and confused. All you could do was hope and pray that someone would find you before the walls would close. "Minho!" you shouted again as you heard foot steps. Your spirits lifted as you saw Minho run up to you

"(y/n)!" he shouted as he got closer to you. "What happened?" he asked as he finally reached you

"I may or may not have taken a tumble off of the top of the wall" you said

"(y/n), you have to be careful, we need to get you back as soon as possible, the walls should be closing soon"

You nodded as he picked you up. You groaned in pain but you knew that he had to get you back to the Glade or you'd be griever food in no time. He rushed you back to the Glade only to find that all of the Gladers waiting for you. They all had a very concerned look on their face but no one look ed more concerned than Newt.

The two of you bonded a lot since you go there. He had always stuck by you, no matter how often you got stuck in the pit. When you finally far enough in the Glade, Minho put you down on the floor. The med jacks ran over to you, in an attempt to help

"No, no one touch me" you said angrily "I'll be alright, just give me some time"

"We need to get you to help!" one of the med jacks said

"No, no I'm fine" you said before letting out a groan of pain

The med jacks decided not to listen to you and carried you to the med jack hut. In every attempt to help you, you have denied all help. It was only when Newt came in and offered to help when you finally gave in

Newt worked day and night to make sure that you healed and it definitely work. You were up and walking in what seemed like no time. It was your first day back as an official runner when Newt stopped you.

"Hey, (y/n), can I talk to you" he asked nervously

"Yea sure thing Newt, just make it quick, I've got to get going soon" you said

"I just wanted to say that i'm really happy that you are better" he said

"Well, I've been meaning to say that I really appreciate what you did for me, I owe you big time"

His eyes widened as he pulled you into a kiss. At first you were caught off guard, but you knew that this was right

When he pulled away you smiled "wow" you said happily "I hate to do this but I better get going" you said, pecking him on the cheek

All during your run, you couldn't think of anything other than Newt
