I decided to plop down on a bench from all of the walking. You know i should try running to school, could be a good workout...

I looked around school grounds watching this group of girl walk by giggling smiling and laughing. God they have no clue of what happens in the real world do they?

I sighed. I sort of felt a pang of loneliness and a little, okay maybe a lot of jealousy towards them. Not the girls inparticular, just the fact that they dont have to worry about being beaten to death everyday by your own old man.

I just hope that I turn 18 soon, even though I don't want things to fly by and all, I just want to get out of this situation and take Rain with me.

I looked up and spotted a guy I'd never seen before on school grounds. He had spiky jet black hair. His back was turned to me but by the looks of it, he was definitely muscular and looked to be around my age.

He turned around and looked straight at me. It was like I had called his name. He smiled at me a little showing some pearly whites. He had the brightest green eyes, almost like emeralds shining in the sun. Those eyes looked familiar to me though...

I felt a jolt of electricity go through me. It was like some sort of unknown connection. He looked away as one of his friends came over to him and started walking him in the other direction. As he walked away however he didn't look back.

That was weird. I wonder what his name is.

I was interrupted out of my thoughts as I heard someone clear there throat next to me I looked over and saw the most amazing person in the entire world! I smelled her familiar fruity scented spritz, and I didn't feel so alone anymore.

This girl here just turns out to be my best friend in the whole wide world. I love her to death.

Yes I do have ONE friend. One is just enough.

" Hey Lunica what goes on?"I asked her trying to make conversation, feeling the loneliness fade away completely.

I adverted my gaze from her and looked around for that guy. He was nowhere to be found.

She hit me playfully on the arm, trying to get my attention. " I have something to tell you!" I said rubbing my arm. I winced as my arm started throbbing.

Her face plummeted into sadness, she automatically new why I winced

" oh Ron-Ron not again! That fat fucking fucktard! I swear to god one of these days i'm gonna give him a taste of his own medicine and see how he likes it"

"Would you lower your voice!! It wasn't that bad! you're not even supposed to know!

;Im sorry," she lowered her voice " do you want some ibuprofen? I have some."

I looked at her and smiled " sure," I said holding out my hand for some " but did you hear about that lady who took a dose of liquid ibuprofen when she was seven and she had a rare allergic reaction to it? The medicine burned a layer of her skin off and everything. She sued the company" she looked at me and shook her head

"Well thanks for making me paranoid about medication now."

"Yup" I replied as I popped the pill in my mouth and swallowed it with my spit.
