Chapter 2: Demyx Goes Berserk and Zexion's Secrets

Demyx and Marluxia were fast asleep; Demyx had his head on his lover's chest and his right arm across his lover's waist. Marluxia had his chin resting on his lover's head and had locked Demyx in with his arms, which were around Demyx's waist. Marluxia was sleeping on his side, where as Demyx was sleeping on his stomach and diagonal with his feet hanging off the bed. They were so peaceful and quiet that everyone thought that they had a lot of heavy wine at dinner. Marluxia had opened the door when Demyx had fallen asleep last night. So everyone who past saw two asleep, Demyx moved his feet so that they weren't hanging off and he repositioned himself.

It just so happened that Larxene had past their room when he moved and she thought that he was up so she went to the door to say good morning, but he didn't get up at all. So she walked off and went somewhere else. Shortly after she left, Marluxia woke up and found that Demyx had moved since he had joined him in bed after opening the door. So he stayed there and let his love sleep some more. Marluxia rolled over to his back and had his feet bent so people knew that one of them were up. There was a soft knock on the door shortly after he did this, he moved his legs and saw whom it was then he waved them in. Axel came in and went over to the bed.

"How was last night?" Axel whispered.

"It went well...even though my ex was our server."

"You saw your ex?"

"Yes...Demyx did to... though Paris wasn't too thrilled to see me. When we left the restaurant he came running out to us, because I had forgotten to grab the box that I had brought in."

"What was in it?"

"A necklace that I gave Demy. It's over on the nightstand if you want to see it."

Axel got up and looked at the necklace. "Didn't you show me this how many years back?"

"I might've."

"What did Demyx say when you gave it to him?"

"You should've been there...he was surprised by the restaurant, then he was in awe with the necklace. I didn't give him the necklace until we had gotten our desert... the restaurant we went to had the recipe for Demy's favorite wine, so we had that."

"What restaurant did you go to?" Axel said as he resettled into his chair.

"The Deep Woods Oasis... that's my favorite place."

"And you ex works there?"

"Yeah and I didn't know that until after we sat down."

Demyx moved closer to Marluxia and settled again. Axel looked at Demyx and shook his head.

"What?"

"I'm surprised that Demyx is still asleep."

"Why? What time is it?"

"Quarter till breakfast."

"That late?"

"Yeah...and Demyx is normally up by now."

"I'm not surprised he's still sleeping."

"Why not?"

"He had most of the bottle last night...guess who we saw last night when we came home?"

"Who?"

"Riku."

"Riku?"

"Yeah, he wanted to talk to..." Marluxia stopped short.

Axel understood what Marluxia said. "About what?"

"Some spells...I guess Riku needed his advice about something. But poor Demyx started crying as he was telling Riku what happened."
