It had seemed like years since Marluxia had gotten out of his state of grief, but it only has been a day. That slap of reality had brought him back to why he had moved on in the first place. Demyx still asleep; when Marluxia woke up the following morning. He stayed where he was, because Demyx was practically lying on top of him and he couldn't move. The door was still closed and Marluxia had his shirt off, which was the effect from last night. Demyx rolled over and his bandage on his neck came off. Marluxia froze and looked at it. It seemed like it had stopped bleeding for now, but he doesn't want to take the risk and inspire himself to wake up Demyx. So he just lay there, he heard a soft tap on the door.

"Come in." Marluxia whispered loud enough for the knocker to know that someone was up and was inviting them in. Elvira entered and found Demyx fast asleep on Marluxia.

"Oh, did I wake you?" she apologized.

"No, I was up."

"Ok...good. I wanted to talk to someone, but everyone else is asleep still."

"Everyone?"

"Yeah."

"What is on your mind?"

"Well, not much. I hardly have anything on my mind. However, I couldn't help to notice you two yesterday. Demyx had ran right past me and he didn't realize it."

"He ran right past you?" Marluxia was shocked.

"Yes...and I had figured it out before hand that you two were... going out. But I hadn't realize that it was official."

"Yeah, we had made it official last year...a few weeks before Zexion died." Marluxia dropped his voice lower than he realized did.

"Oh...how did he react to that?"

"It wasn't a pretty sight to see, first off."

"What happened?"

"I'm not sure exactly, but I had went over to his room and unlocked his door. The lights were off and I could hardly see with the light that the sun was giving off...but it was enough to realize that he did something that he normally doesn't do."

"What was it?"

"Well...like I said 'I'm not sure exactly'. But I went into his bathroom and his mirror was shattered...there was no pieces on the wall where the mirror was. I then saw a trail of blood and Demyx and I found him on the floor...his hands were bloody."

"Oh, my...that will explain why I had to put in a new mirror."

"You replaced his mirror?"

"Yeah...how else would I look this pretty...anyway, he must've seen or heard something that made him do that?"

"It was the day before his death, he confessed to me."

"What did he confess about?"

"He told me that he..." Marluxia stopped short when Demyx moved, but Demyx didn't wake up. "He told me that he loved me...and that waiting for me was destroying him. He told me that the reason why...why he shattered his mirror was because he didn't know how to handle the pain he felt when he realized that I made my commitment to Demyx. He had explained why he had kissed me a few months before that..." Marluxia stopped talking, because he could feel the tears coming back as he told Elvira what he remembered.

"I'm so sorry...how did you take to his death?"

"I'm still recovering from that...but I had a reality check from Axel on that and how much Demyx loves me. It was what I needed to get over the fact...but that doesn't mean that I'll remember him."
