Her fingers twitched as she began to come to. She heard voices off outside of her room? It was dark and her hands were numb, her shoulders were killing her, and she was confused. She shook her head trying to clear her mind. Her arms were restrained above her head and she was dangling. She tried to focus on the room she was in but it was too dark. What is it with Vampires and leaving you in the dark?
"This is bull shit and you know it. You promised we would defeat him and take down a few more with him." "No, I promised to help. And I did, you got distracted. I gave you six of my pets and you failed. No one told you to touch her, she was mine and you tried to take her instead of what you were there to do. Wait for me outside I'll bring her out."
"Yeah a lot of good your pets were, she took down two by herself. By herself!"There was silence then until a door slammed possibly leading out. Great she was alone with the beast master? She was trying to free her hands when she heard a soft female voice. "You don't want to do that, his beasts will tear you apart if you fall." She tried to turn to see who was talking to her. "No, they wont." She grumbled as she swung herself up until she was able to grip the rope or whatever it was holding her with her legs. If she could just get it a little looser she could probably burn it off without hurting herself.
"I'm obviously going to have to be a little more creative with you." she froze hearing his voice, legs tightening around the rope. She could hear animalistic whining nearby but still couldn't see. "Or you could just not restrain me." He grinned, though she couldn't see it. "Well come on down then." She worked her hands free but kept holding on. "Keep your beasts back." "Of course."
She lowered herself down slowly dropping the few feet from where she'd been hanging. "We've got to stop meeting like this. How about a little light? Or should I?" he was suddenly behind her again, she flinched as his hands touched her thighs and brushed up along her skin under her shirt to rest on her stomach. "No need, there's plenty of light outside. Here, I'll show you the way." She shivered as he spoke against her ear.
"You're awfully close since I don't even know your name." "Soon." his breath hot against her skin again. She sighed but allowed him to lead her outside. There was a fire that was as tall as she was, piled high with wood the flames went even higher than she stood. The vampires that surrounded the fire as a frightening bunch. There was no hiding that they were vampires, the evil that radiated off of them hit her to her core. She was barefoot now, curious where her other shoe had gone. Probably a pointless question since they didn't retrieve the one that she threw.
They were arguing over her fate. Great she was close to freedom and now they are playing who wants the magical human? They walked near the fire, people began to gather around them. "Tonight we had the opportunity to rid this city of a hand full of Camarilla, possibly more. It was an epic failure and I am beginning to doubt your abilities, all of you." "We failed because of her!" "Yeah, she took down two of your warriors and a dozen of our men!" The men yelled out interrupting him. He removed his hand from her waist and lifted it in silence.
"You're blaming your failure on a human. That's pathetic. Focus has always been your downfall. Now, I know you all believe you are owed something from her. Unfortunately her fate has all ready been decided. She will walk from here with me willingly." "Wait, I'll what?" she tried to turn slightly to look at him. "You will walk from this place with me of your own free will, without struggle or fight." he smirked at her. "Or you have two other options of course. You could stay here, while they decided what to do with you. Or would you prefer to go with Sebastien he's definitely a fan of yours." He teased her.
As if there was a lot of choice with that. "As tempting as it is to stay and mingle, I will leave with you." "Of your own free will and without struggle?" he added and she nodded relaxing her shoulders that had been tense and ready to fight. "There you have it."he smirked at the others. "Good night gentlemen." One of the men stepped forward to debate it or possibly grab her and two dog like creatures lept out between them and the others. Nic gasped and stepped back closer to him.
