Ghosts of Sherwood is a terrible movie, absolutely shocking. The film is marketed with a bunch of lies that try so hard to pursuade stupid people to buy it. . .  and sadly my brother is one of those stupid people. It is a movie that lies straight to your face with promotional cover art depicting a demonic , red cloaked, skeletal Robin Hood that turns out to be a badly painted German man in the finished product. This is the reason why before buying a movie you have never heard of before, read a review. In fact, plese read this one.

The biggest lie that 'Ghosts of Sherwood' tells is the synopsis on the back of the case. The case tells us that the story is about 'Maid Marion and Little John scouring the earth for a cure to Robin and his Merry Men's undead revival' which doesn't happen in the movie . . . at all! In fact, the only time Robin gets infected is about fifteen minutes before the end of the movie! Whoops, spoiler.

So for a film thats entire marketing campaign is based on lies (because of either the low budget or they just couldn't give a shit........their marketing campaign is making a web page and selling it in a shop) what do you get? Well you get......,

Extremely overblown dialogue audio making the speech feel unnatural, which doesn't help the fact that the shitty actors sound like they're being sarcastic throughout the entire film. You get a film that only decides to include background sound about halfway through the movie, but when it does the overly loud dialogue overtakes it. On the plus side though the films soundtrack is really good, but alas they use the same song ALL THE FUCKING TIME!

Now all of this plus actor who must think that they're from a low budget video game because they clearly have no idea how to act. This is shown through the CONSTANT GENERIC BODY MOVEMENTS! The actor who plays Robin (Yes he is human for the most of this film, and the writing makes his character boring and uninteresting even though it bloody Robin Hood) can't say a single line without shrugging his shoulders or thinking he's on stage, and a play with a shitty director to add.

So onto the positives. The film brings you a lot of laughs, not because of jokes but at the film because its soooooo shit. It also does have a pretty good CG shot near the end of the film when Marion casts a barrier to keep the Merry Zombie Men inside Sherwood forest. And its pretty clear that they wasted their entire £10 budget on one shot.

As said before though the soundtrack is brilliant and is probably the best part of this film. And amongst the terrible actors there are two good actors (The Sherrif and The Witch who puts the curse on Robin) who stand out in the film.

So.overall I give this shitastic, brain killing,£10 budget movie a 2/10. DO NOT BUY THIS MOVIE!!!!! Its so bad :'(
