he sat there with the open book,
turning the pages as his eyes wandered,
passing themselves along the lumps of dead weighted meat called humans,
until she caught his eyes,
and didn't let them go.
it was sudden,
like a door slamming closed with a raged force.
it didn't surprise him that she was smiling,
but what did surprise him was that she was smiling at him.
but then, he caught on.
the malicious grin that graced her concealed lips,
the power hungry but damaged look in her eyes made him shiver.
the fact that she winked at him made him think.
it was obvious that he was just conquest,
a euphoric desire to own someone who was willing to get tangled in the clean, white sheets of love.
and he did.
he wanted her to.
to use him,
the pain wasn't going to be bearable,
but then again,
neither is pleasure.
