"take me as the crazy bitch I am, or go live happily ever after with Cinderella."

*~*~*~*~*~*

she was sat on his lap,

straddling him.

sweat glistening on their bodies,

they panted heavily,

foreheads sticking together.

and he still held her in all the heat.

her crying and sobbing was silenced by his naked shoulder,

his words of serenity putting her at the slightest state of calmness.

m a r a fidgeted with his chain,

dangling loosely from his neck,

the initials I.C.W engraved in a steel silver.

"what's the C for?"

"Caleb."

"oh."

silence.

the air was dense with overheated human weight,

growing more and more with every slouch conceived from m a r a ' s heavy breathing.

his hands went up to her head,

tilting it to show her neck,

and kissing it softly.

a content sigh left her slightly parted lips as her eyes closed.

but he saw something.

"is this red hair?"

she tensed.

a sharp breath of air slicing her relaxed aura in half.

she pulled away from him,

still seated in his lap,

and looked down.

"do you have red hair m a r a?"

"... no."

"are you lying?"

"yes."

"why?"

"because pain is best felt when inflicted on ones self."

"how does it hurt you?"

"I don't like lying to you."

"oh."

....

"can you take it off?"

a long moment after,

m a r a released a sigh,

and pulled off the blonde and tattered wig,

revealing a mass of bright red hair.

his hands instinctively went up to the bundle of curls,

tugging downwards till her head was lined up to his.

kissing her mouth he asked,

"remember that time you asked me Cinderella or the crazy bitch?"

"yea?"

he smiled and kissed her hard again before letting go.

" I choose the crazy bitch."

sincerely, m a r a.
