Chapter 6

TOBY'S P.O.V

"Hi sweet friends, Cara here on Kiis FM! Guess what? Today we have special guests! Three good looking and talented brothers, your 2014 Rising Star winner! Let's welcome... Before You Exit! Whoohoo!"

"Hello hello!" We all said in unison.

"Thanks for having us!" Connor added.

"Thanks for stopping by too! Alright so let me embrace this first. You're Connor, and Riley, and this is Toby. Am I right?" Cara tried to memorize our names.

"You got it." Riley chuckled.

"Oh wait. You two really look alike." She gasped in shock.

"Hahaha. Quite told about it a lot." I replied. "But no we're brothers."

"Yeah Toby's the oldest." Connor mocked me.

"Very nice you adult. Very nice." I playfully pouted.

"Hahaha. You guys... Okay so Connor's about to be 22, Riley's about to be 20, and Toby's 17?"

"Yes yes." Connor nodded.

"Noted! Haha so guys let's move on to the questions your fans have noted us on our official Twitter account. First up, from Cassie McDonough. Uh... Are you planning to make another headlining tour?"

"Yup. That's one thing we're always wanting to do. We're such tour freaks. We want to be on the road 24/7. So the answer for that would be yes we're trying to put everything on the right track first. Tour sounds amazing tho. Always." Connor explained. Riley and I both nodded.

"Cool! And how has the new single Model been? Your fans seem like it though."

"Yeah. It's really awesome how they understand our transformation in music which describes our own personal transformation as well as a person. It's amazing. It works so well." It's my turn to reply.

"Ah wow yeah we have a lot of Exiters requesting the song over and over again." Cara smiled at me. "That being said, another interesting question coming to your way..."

"I'm scared." Connor made a joke.

"Hahaha." Riley cleared his throat. "I think I can take a guess."

"Yeah? What would that be?" Cara smirked.

"Are we single?" Riley put the quote mark in the air as we all laughed.

"Damn right!" Cara clapped her hands. "And we demand answers, brothers."

"Well Riley is 19, single, and ready." Connor messed around once again.

"So is Connor though. Girls out there, Connor's age, he's expecting that one lucky girl." Riley fistbumped me because Connor was pouting.

"So wonderful. Thank you." Connor deepened his tone.

"And you Toby?" Cara threw the question at me. "You single?"

"Uhm..."

I got cut in the throat. There was possibility Abigail heard this conversation through that old radio in her living room. I knew it, because that's how we spent our time. And now, after this morning's unsuccessful call, I really wanted to go normal. Be a normal guy. Pretended to have no girlfriend and what not, public hasn't known yet I was dating a best friend back in hometown.

"Toby?" Connor kicked my feet.

"I'm also single." I let it out.

Riley glared me. Connor didn't see it coming. I got both death glares from my brothers. I know what I did was totally reckless and childish. But you know the feel, when you know it's wrong yet you still eager to do it.

The interview went well. Cara wrapped it up after 20 minutes. That's her last airing schedule for today. Then we did a video interview for their YouTube channel. We finished it before lunch time.

"So..." Cara walked us out of the front door. "Come over again sometimes?"

"Sure." I winked. She's a beautiful girl.

"Aw that's awesome." She bowed her head, I think I made her blush.

"Thanks Cara. Send them some loves from us." Connor hugged her because we should get going to the next radio.

"Sure thing I'll tell." She hugged Connor and Riley.

"Thank you so much." I hugged her as well as slipped something into her leather jacket's pocket.

"Hmm?" Cara tried to reach that but I stopped.

"Later." I winked again. "Talk to you soon."

We both exchanged smiles and it was just so cute. I hopped the last into our van and soon the driver took off from the carpark. I smiled deep at heart. Pretty sure she would pay me a call back.
