Chapter 13 Failed
Third person pov.
“If you rub/scratch your fingers through his hair, he'll love you forever.”
-------
It's later now. Way later, then Freya ever thought she would've been at Mount Justice for.
After getting dragged by Wally down the bleak hallways, straight back into the living room that had half of the team waiting for the two of them to start the first movie of their three plus marathon; it had her first plan being canceled, and a new one had to come to form. So, after a few minutes of getting settled down to watch; her new plan was in action.
Her new plan was simple and easy, as easy as the other one she had before. All she now had to do is just wait until one or at least half way through the second movie of the Hunger Games trilogy to sneak out when others are distracted; or half or fully asleep; and or out of the room doing God knows what.
Shouldn't be that hard, most of them are looking tired, exhausted, and drained of energy. Like they will flop over any second.
The first movie should have them knocked out or at least too distracted in the movie to care if one of their teammates left the room and didn't come back.
However, like before, Freya's plan that was pretty simple and very easy to achieve, was not achievable because here she was tightly wrapped up in the warm, secure arms of Wally West, with her fingers rubbing, massaging, and scratching his scalp, even lightly tugging at his hair every once in a while when she's too distracted in her thoughts than watching the movie in front of her.
With the third movie halfway through and a lot of the team members still awake, alongside Wally being like a weighted heated blanket, she's stuck on the couch, making her new plan fail again.
If Wally wasn't trapping her in all of his warmth and weight, she would have already used the excuse of having to use the bathroom to get out of this place. She would already be far away from this mountain; doing anything else than this.
If she was asked why she didn't come back, she would’ve lied and said that something urgent came up and she had to leave without another thought.
At this point, she knew what she had to do. It's like the other plans, just more bolder this time. She just had to wait on Wally to either move and unwrap his toned arms from her or for him to get up. She just didn't know when that was going to happen, but when it did happen, she'd jump right to it.
Even though she's loving every second of his warm, secure arms around her still sore body. It's overwhelming her. It was like what she had felt in her dreams many, many times. Finally, this time, it was real. It wasn't a daydream or a dream. It was the real thing. Well, part of the real thing.
The thing is, she knew she couldn't let this drag on for much longer because if she did, she would get attached, or more attached, then she already was. So she knew Wally needed to get up soon, but with another look down at him, he still looked so deep in sleep and so cute.
How could she disturb his slumber? Even if it was unconvincing her plans? She sure as hell knew she couldn't do that!
As she sat there staring at the tv in front of her, she felt Wally's arms tighten around her waist, and his face dug more into the side of her ribs slash side of her chest.
This had her face becoming a beat red, but that was just the start of it all.
Wally had moved around now, asleep and trying to get more comfortable on the couch and on her.
