The wolves agreed to help the Golden Retrievers find the other dogs. April was glad that the wolves offered their help.

After a whole day of searching, the wolves and dogs decided to take a break to hunt and rest for the night. The wolves hunted food, and Cooper found a water source.

The next day, the wolves found a deer, and brought it back to eat. After they ate, the wolves and dogs continued the search.

They heard crunches of leaves in the woods, and became alert. April and Cooper were anticipating the arrival of the new dogs. April hoped one was a girl so she could share her ideas and interests. She wanted to tell her about her crush on Cooper, and she secretly hoped he liked her, too.

Cooper wanted to have a friend that  was a boy so he could talk about boy things, and his crush on a dog at his home named Willow. She was a beautiful beagle who lived up the hill. He would always bring her flowers and she put them in her fur.

It was about late afternoon, and the group found berries near a river. The  wolves told April and Cooper that if they don't find the dogs soon, they would give up and and go home. Cooper and April did not want to give up on this search, not yet.
