April, Cooper, Annie ,and Katie where playing ball. There were two teams April and Cooper's team and Katie and Annie's team. April and Coopers name of there team was the Cool Dogs, and Annie and Katie's team was the Rad Pups. Usually April and Cooper win all the games, but Katie and Annie were puppies, so they sometimes let them win.
Soon, It started to get dark, so they started a fire as they settled down to sleep. They heard a dog howl, and April became scared because she knew Cooper would want to start a other adventure. Yet, Cooper didn't say anything so April was relieved.
The next morning the dogs woke up to see a dog on a hill side. With caution, April approched the strange dog, and said "Would you like to join our pack?" The strange dog started to speak, "I don't know if I could keep myself alive with your group.." the dog said in a nasty way. April didn't like how she lashed out at her. "We have three more dogs down the hill.. maybe you could meet them?", April asked. The stranger hesitantly agreed.
Once they got down the hill, the dog told the other dogs her name. "My name is Cali, a Shetland Sheepdog, and I have been surviving in these woods for 4 years." The other dogs looked at her amazed, then helped Cali get settled in . Cali made a deal with the dogs if she could have protection and live with the dogs. Cali would show them how to survive. The dogs agreed.
