After the dogs helped Cali settle in, Cali decided to help the dogs find food, and learn how to survive.
"You have to stalk and pounce on your pray, or chase them down to get what you want to eat. It can be very difficult at first, but when you know what your doing and get the hang of it, will GET easier every try.", Cali said.
They started to go in the woods to catch some rabbits for dinner, and Cali said it would be best if we all split in pairs, because if they do it in a big group they could scare the prey away.
Cooper was looking around for a rabbit, but the problem was Cooper never seen a rabbit before, but the he found a tail sticking right out of the bushes. Cooper grabbed the tail with his jaws. Once he pulled the tail, Cooper heard a loud hiss.
The cat came out of the bushes angrily.
"Why did you do that?", the cat said in a rude voice.
"I thought you were a rabbit.", Cooper barked.
"Do I look like a rabbit to you?", the cat hissed. Cooper explained to the cat that he was not sure what a rabbit looked like.
Cali, Katie, April, and Annie came running to see what was wrong. Cooper said everything was okay, and that the cats name was Saraphina. Saraphina also joined the pack hesitantly.
