Cooper and April approached the strangers, and asked them their names and breeds to make sure they weren't dangerous.
The first dog spoke up, in a high and energetic voice, "Well, I am a Westie, and my name is Katie!".
The second dog spoke with an equally energetic voice, but much deeper, "My name is Annie, and I am a Short Haired Pointer."
Cooper was shocked that there was not one boy out of the all the dogs, but he really liked Annie and Katie because they were high energy, like him. April also liked the two new dogs, but was much closer to Katie.
Cooper asked if they would like to join their 'Pack', and the two dogs replied with a simple 'sure'. They quickly passed the wolf pack on the way back, they were heading to a little clearing in the woods.
When they got back, they showed them around. It was unexplored territory to the other dogs.
Soon, it was getting late so they went to rest. Cooper told Katie and Annie about the adventure that Cooper and April had, before they found this quiet clearing in the woods. Howling was heard in the distance but it quickly stopped.
"April, I heard you howling ... it was beautiful...", Cooper said. April blushed. The dogs closed their tired eyes, and drifted to sleep.
